Just Catamarans Grossly misrepresented Discovery a 43 ft 2005 Lagoon Power Catamaran Dania Beach FL Florida

Just Catamarans, in their on-line brochure claimed that Discovery, a 2005 43 ft Lagoon Power Catamaran was turn-key, ready to go and that the new owner need do nothing to the boat. They represented that the starboard engine was new when in fact if was used. We have the invoice from the company doing the installation.

Two surveys....a boat and engine survey..... were done on June 3, 2017. Numerous sustems were declared inoperable including the battery charger and inverter, of the five AC units 3 were not functional or intermitent, of the 3 refrigeration units, none were operational, the water maker was inoperable, the port engine was deemed to have never been serviced. Engines would not run at full rpm. The electrical system was rewired and according to the surveyor "a mess". The survey was 36 pages.

The engine surveyor declared the port engine which has 3800 hours was a disaster and the boat surveyor said the boat was in a state of "disarray".

A respected Lagoon service center in Ft Lauderdale, after looking at the surveys, said the boat would require a minimuim of $100,000 to make it sea worthy.
