JustFlowers Floral Fraud Masters Los Angeles, California

JustFlowers.com advertises "Same Day Delivery Guaranteed!"  They are a call center in California which takes orders from phone and internet and uses local florists to fulfill these orders.  I was excited to find out that Sunday delivery to my mother's tiny town in Minnesota was possible, so after confirming this with the customer service rep over the phone, I purchased an arrangement that looked attractive online.  The rep WOULDN'T TELL ME what the total cost of the order would be, nor specify what the delivery charge would be.  Weird?? I should have cut the sale off then, but I was needing to get a gift to her by the next day.

I placed the order on Saturday night.  The total cost was about $84 for a "standard"-size bouquet (i.e., not premium upgrade with more stems) plus delivery.  Well lo and behold, delivery was $20 and there was an undisclosed "handling fee" of $3.49.  And guess what?  The flowers were NOT delivered on Sunday, because there are no local florists near my mom's house who provide that service!  The local florist received the order on Monday.  She stated she collected $59.95 from JustFraud... er... I mean JustFlowers.  She normally charges $10 for delivery, so I got $40 worth of flowers for $84.  And a day late too.

I attempted multiple times to call customer service and hold times were interminable.  I asked for a supervisor and was hung up on during the "call transfer."  They offered me a $7.50 coupon code for "my next order."  I actually tried to use a $5 coupon code during the initial order, and it was never applied.  This is one of their tactics; coupon codes WILL NOT BE APPLIED to your order.  Also, if you give them your phone number, they will telemarket-call you!  AND... the same floral arrangement I paid $59.95 for on Saturday was $44.95 on Monday, the day my flowers were delivered to the intended recipient.

All of this info is abundantly available on the BBB site, which I was not resourceful enough to check out prior to my order, sadly.  BBB has logged 760 complaints for JustFlowers over the past 3 years.  Over the past 12 months, they've logged 350 complaints about them! 

Save yourself time and money and just phone your local florist direct.  If you feel you are talking to a call center employee, hang up... all the floral call centers are ripoffs, IMHO.
