Justin R Barbera LLC Ripped off my insurance company, tore up my house, took the money and RAN Medford, New Jersey

BEWARE!! STAY AWAY! REPEAT OFFENDER!

In July of 2011, my home sustained damage due to a storm.  Justin recommended that I file a claim against my homeowners insurance. I never even considered that avenue, I didn't know that I was covered for such damage, I was unsure of the process, but Justin knew exactly how to go about it.  He took the lead and the process was in full swing.  He told me, he was told by the insurance company to rip out my closet to expose all the internal damage.  He said that the adjuster would be out to inspect the house in three days.  He tore out both the closets in the master bedroom, right down to the back of the exterior walls.  I could clearly see outside.  The adjuster came and Justin pointed out everything, he did all the talking and negotiating.  The claim was approved and Justin started to replace the roof.  He kept asking me if I had received the check for almost $12,000.00 from the insurance company.  When it finally arrived, it was made out to, me, Justin and the mortgage company.  He told me that I had to sign it, give it to him and he would have to take it to my mortgage company.  I told him that I was very uncomfortable with him recieving all the money up front, I told him that I was told never to do that, especially since I didn't even have a contract.  I called my insurance company and they told me that the bank would give Justin some money upfront and put the rest in an account, to be paid upon completion of the job.  Justin wrote out a contract stating that he would complete all the work as stated in the insurance adjusters report.  He took the check to the bank (Wells Fargo) and they cashed out the check, giving him the total amount.  He completed the roof, in a timely manner and then the nightmare began.  He basically vanished.  Leaving me with no closets, insulation or walls, all winter.  My bedroom was freezing, basically uninhabitable, since I could see outside.   When I called my insurance company to alert them of my situation, I was informed that Justin had billed them another $9000.00 for so called emergency services.  These services were NEVER performed.  I tried my best to get Justin to come finish the work, he wouldn't return calls or he would schedule appointments and just never show up.  He finally sent me a revised contract, which omitted most of the work, that he had already been paid quite well to do.  He told me that no more work would be done until I signed the new contract.  Of course, I refused to sign it and Justin has just written his responsibilities off.  He has considered the job over with. 

      Needless to say, I alerted the Better Business Bureau.  Justin adds claim that he is accredited by them, he is not, he has an "F" rating.  They have had several complaints filed against him, and Justin refuses to cooperate with them.  I then alerted Consumer Affairs,  they tried to work with Justin for six months to resolve the issue and once again he refused to cooperate.  Consumer Affairs alerted the Prosecutors Office, who were familiar with Justin, because they had several other complaints against him.  Consumer Affairs recommended that I file a law suit against Justin, which from what I have been told, is one of many, filed against him.

     This man is an experienced rip off artist.  I am not alone.  Check out his reviews on Google, Yellowpages, Insider, Judysbook and Angieslist, just to name a few.  You will notice on one site he has 15 reviews, 13 positive reviews all from the same person, Robin K (must be a friend or his alter ego because she talks about how handsome he is), the other two are negative reviews from two different people.  Does he really think that the public is that stupid not to notice.  He also operates from several different addresses such as Moorestown, Cherry Hill and Marlton.

     This man claims loudly to be a Christian and a supporter of our troops, don't be fooled by his "I'm here to save you disguise".  He is only using you, to rip off your insurance company, to pad his pockets.
