I contacted JVFConsulting.com for a website to be developed. They quoted me $3,600 for a basic html website and $5,100 for a website with cms. The prices were outrageous, so I asked if there was any room to negotiate on the basic, $3,600 website since I had received MUCH smaller quotes from their competitors. They laughed in my face.
"$3,600 is non-negotiable. We custom design each website, not using templates or outsourcing our work which is what you will receive at every other shop."
Not only are they saying that charging 10x what a normal web designer would charge is reasonable, they tried to bad mouth EVERY web designer out there. Not only that - their designs are incredible amateurish and look like they were made by a child. When I said okay, I'll go somewhere else they replied with:
"LOL"
Real mature, especially coming from a BUSINESS. Absolutely horrible experience, stay away from these scammers.
