JWS Construction Group LLC John Sommers FRAUDULENT CONTRACTOR—Hired for complete renovation, used someone else’s contractor license, & did horrible work not to FL building code. Boca Raton Florida

JWS Construction Group LLC, aka John Sommers, was hired back in December 2017 to completely renovate & remodel our 3400 sq.ft Boca Raton home. After 7 months of slow terrible work and causing on-going damage to my property, I had to fire him. When he was initially hired, he represented himself as a "Fully Licensed & Insured” contractor. He even supplied a FL General Contractor license that I later discovered WAS NOT HIS, nor was he associated with in any way. JOHN SOMMERS HAS NEVER HELD ANY FLORIDA CONTRACTOR LICENSE. HE IS A TOTAL FRAUD AND HAS BEEN REPORTED TO FLORIDA’S DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL REGULATION (DBPR) TO BE INVESTIGATED & PROSECUTED. Not only does John Sommers not hold any legitimate licensing for construction work, NONE OF HIS CREW HAD FL LICENSES TO PERFORM THE PLUMBING & ELECTRICAL WORK DONE IN MY HOME. During his 7 months on the job, I kept discovering more and more problems and major code violations with his work according to the FL Building Codes. John would always have some quick plausible excuse for the violations and then have his crew rig-up some terrible fix after the damage was already done. The real reason for the continuous problems with his work and violations of the building code is because he and his crew are really just handyman hacks that don’t know what they are doing. DON’T BE FOOLED BY WHAT SEEMS TO BE HIS KNOWLEDGE OF CONSTRUCTION OR HIS LAID BACK DISPOSITION. RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION. Please, don’t take my word on this.
