K & R Remodeling LLC Company performed poor quality work on home renovation project and refused to issue refund Huber Heights ohio

The quality of work performed by Rashid Watkins was poor. He installed baseboard with a gauge in one of my bedrooms, he did not cover the flooring when painting and left nails hanging out of the baseboard without being tapped in. He then proceeded to caulk over the nail which was sharp. The owner Cherry insisted that I let Rashid “fix it” but that would have costs me more time and money.

I would not recommend Rashid or this company. I did not allow them to complete any other work accept this one particular room because I was not confident in his work quality. The pictures on their facebook page do not reflect the quality of their work. If you look on all of the BEAUTIFUL pictures of finished projects, you will not see Rasheed in any of them!! 

The company agreed to issue me a refund only after I agreed to sign a non disparagement agreement. The owner said that I could receive my refund within 7-10 business days of ending our working relationship, but did not give this same allowed time for me to get the non disparagement agreement back to her. She notified me by text on Oct 26 when she emailed me the proposal for work, but could not send a similar text to inform me that she had emailed over the agreement.

This was an attempt to keep me, as a consumer from accessing my agreed upon refund. The contractor agreed that he had only completed $625 worth of work, but the Owner, would not honor her word, but instead created a short timeframe for me to sign an agreement, which I should not have had to sign in order to receive my money back. This business is not consistent and does not honor their word. Do not do business with the company!
