I placed an order with this online, "virtual store" that maintains a very seductive web site store for various natural products. After more than two weeks of waiting for my order to arrive, and after several emails inquiring about my order-- all I got was the run around from this company.

First, they tell me everything will be mailed 'right away' but nothing arrives. Then after several more emails, they have a different story about some things being 'backordered.'

When I tell them that if something is backordered, then just send me the rest of the order. Well, this got more rhetoric and other ridiculous verbiage via email [since they do NOT have a phone number to contact anyone in a customer service department].

The bottom line is that I never got my order. They told me they would send me a tracking number for a package that they say was sent, but it turned out that the package had not yet been sent and was once again stalled for several days.

When I emailed them confronting them about their bad business practices, they only skirt the issue and state that they are not bad.

Unbelievable.

You would think that my order was coming from Mars or the Moon rather than Florida.

I finally had to contact my credit card to reverse the charges.

To give some perspective, I had ordered another order from a different vendor in California a whole week later on line, and I got the package in 5 days regular mail.

This irresponsible company cannot seem to get a package out in a reasonable amount of time without having one excuse after the other.

Now they are trying to pull a fast one by stating that the package that they supposedly sent must be sent back on my own expense with a tracking number and they will have to "examine" all of the contents to see if they will refund me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is for a phantom package that has not even arrived yet after more than two weeks of emails asking where is my stuff?

This company operates in a shady, underhanded manner and has every excuse and snake-like maneuver to try to slink out of any responsibility whatsoever.

Do NOT be fooled by their slick online web page. From what I experienced, never do business with a company that has no mailing address and no customer service phone number to contact a real person on the phone.

This company has lost me as a high end customer who placed a very expensive order with them.

It goes without saying that I will never do business with this company ever again.

Customer did not choose option to cancel and was communicated with about backstock order

AUTHOR: Kaiahouse - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 27, 2009

This customer has been communicated with about the back stock order and was informed that it would take a few days to get the products out to her. From the third day of ordering she began to email asking where the order was demanding that our corporate offices (NYC) were only 1 hour away from her home and the order should have arrived. We informed her that our orders take 2-3 days to pack, and standard 3-5 days to reach the door, these are all business days.
We then told her that items were out of stock and would be in in a few days.

The customer then proceeded to email slanderous accusations calling the company a scam and us liars and shameful because our product was out of stock. Ultimately, the products were shipped out approx 7 business days after her order, noting that we did communicate to her that they were out of stock. In total, this customer has sent over 10 emails, each one calling us a scam and liars and cursing us. We resent her the tracking number of the order. If we were a scam, we would not send a tracking number, nor would we communicate constantly with her. At no point did she say to cancel the order. We would like the products back and suggested she resend the package if she doesnt want it anymore so that we receive the products properly according to our return policy. This is for her protection.

Just as there are many companies out there that are scams, there are also people that find joy in ruining a company's reputation and have acute paranoia about internet purchases. There are also many customers that cause this issue, say they will reject the package, in order just to keep the products. That is also a scam, and as a business we simply ask the products be returned in sellable condition to us. That is not 'pulling a fast one', that is honest practices.

We are sorry that she did not have a good experience with us, but we have thousands of customers from all around the world that love us. We offer over 2000 hard to find organic products and at times with heavy demand we do run out. This is completely normal. Although 10 days is a little longer than what we would have hoped to fulfill her order, it is not indicative of a scam and certainly does not call for this kind of harassment and outlandish slander.

We do not have a telephone number because we like to keep emails like this trackable for both parties benefit.

At this point, we are happy that the majority of our customers are thrilled with us and will leave this experience as an exception to our experience serving our wonderful customers. At this time, we are not going to pursue any legal repurcussions with this person and would like to put the whole thing behind us.
