I ordered some herbs from shamanshop.net. The herbs where so old and stale they were useless. I don't know the exact number of years it takes for powdered herbs to crystalize and clump together to form rock-like structures...but that gives you an idea of how bad they were.
I sent an email asking how to return these rocks. They replied saying, "if" the herbs really were old, then just put them in decocotion and they are fine. No returns accepted. However, as a courtesy, we'll refund you $20 (I paid $75 in product plus shipping), and made the refund transaction to my card on file. This all done before I had an opportunity to respond.
That card they had on file was no longer active. It was stolen and I had it cancelled.
I called to give them an active card...$20 bucks wasn't exactly the refund I had in mind, but some better than nothing, I supposed.
When I explained the situation, he did nothing but argue with me. It was the worst customer service I'd ever experienced, not to mention also the worst products I'd ever received.
I asked if he could credit the money to the card that exists, since the other one is cancelled. He said he can't do it, it's illegal. This, of course made no sense. But the more I asked for clarification, the angrier he got. He swayed back and forth between accusing me of lieing about a cancelled card, to how the herbs are good anyhow, to why I didn't give an active card number in my email asking how to return products, to who got that money he just refunded then?
NOBODY...the card doesn't exist!
I finally asked him if it not seem a little weird that he could try to process a refund to a non existant card, but me calling with a valid card was a transaction he couldn't do?
He just argued more with me, until I finally said, never mind, I can see I'm not getting any refund. Which is when he promptly hung up on me.
This place has the worst products and customer service...don't waste your money.
