Outside Chase bank ans Starbucks in Laguna Hills, CA a man drew my attention by asking if I lived in the area, he actually looked familiar so I stopped and did a double take, which further engaged converstaion. I told him I worked in the area, realized I didn't know him and he said wait I see you have a truck I have all of these tv's I picked up come look I'm trying to get rid of a few they're really nice. I don't know what drew me over there, but I glanced and he's showing me a magazine that shows a picture of a TV retail 2800, how much could I give him for it and before I'm even agreeing he's putting it my truck. I don't know why I didn't stop it, but all the sudden I'm saying I have some cash and he's making small talk but I'm feeling very harassed and offering him money and he's trying to get more and more I throw $170 at him, he's still trying to get more, says you know what I'll give it to you. Turns out its not a TV but a home theatre system Kamron audio ka-42 made to look like a TV box, completely fake website and contact information. I felt very accosted and robbed and embarrassed to have fallen for such a scam I was just thinking that wasn't bad for a new tv...incident reported to local authorities.

Outside of foodlion archdale nc a grey headed semi long hair man pulled up beside me asking if I would be interested in some brand new tvs!, he first implied that they were not stolen" and had paperwork with him trying to explain to me that his company" had given him to many and hes just trying to get rid of the few extras he didnt need!! I got out to take a look, dude had 4 projectors and like 9 home audio systems" which he was claiming was tvs! He said I see you have a truck so i figured id ask! I don't know what drew me over there, but As i proceded to the passenger side he's showing me a recipt"" from what he called his work which on that piece of paper wasent showing anything but a few random numbers!! Anyway then shows a picture of a TV retail $2100 and it said on the side of the box msrp $2170, then he proceded to ask me how much could I give him for a couple and i said well u tell me ur the one selling them, i also mentioned i have like $100 on me and thats it!! well he ended up saying hell give me 2 for $300 and i said man look i only have $100 and even then he's still trying to get more like hes being a dumbass at this point, then says you know what I'll give one to you for $100 So i was like ok what tha hell why not. Well turns out its not a TV but a home theatre system Kamron audio ka-42 made to look like a TV box, completely fake website and contact information.
