Kappes Miller Management ripoff Charged me for a Vehicle tow that never happened for a company that does not have an impound license in the county Seattle, Washington

On May 10th 2004, a tow, alledgely occured, which has been charged to my condo unit. No tow ever occured. It was fabricated by the resident manager, One, (John) David Swanson. This bill was supposedly for a towing concern (corporation) DBA SafeTow which has since lost their impoundment License in the state of Washington. This bill has been charged by Kappes Miller Management (Condominium Specialists), to my unit, for something that has never occured.

These people are unethical in their business practices (Kappes Miller), amd I would advise any person(s) who buy a condominium, to check first to see if they (Kappes Miller) Kappes Miller Management, manage the condo they want to buy, to steer clear of these theives!
This company (Kappes Miller) has attached this to my ledger and refuses to take it off. Although $179.00 might seem like a mere pittance to some, this is nothing short of extortion, with no proof, and in my opinion has been foisted upon our unit by the manager, John David Swanson. If that's his real name.

Although, you would like disclaim any knowledge of this incident, and characterize me as a a "Resident', with no rights your employee, Mr. Swanson is the one m,aking false accusations. You would wish to claim that he is a employee of the Board of Directors, however you company has the direct control, or in this case "NO", control of this manager. This SAFTOW company who Mr. Swanson got a receipt from has no record of this incident ever occurring, Call them yourself Mr. Mark E. Holmes, they don't even have a License to Impound cars in the state of Washington, this is a contrived bill from your employee, which should never have been paid, Our family will not be made to pay for your poor bookkeeping practices and oversight of your employee.

As to my website these certainly are my opinions, which for the most point are accurate, why don't you read them, I can take some pictuers and post them here if you would like proof?

This is my only post, I have not posted the other 2 complaints that you have tried to atribute to me, I am much more direct.

Kappes Miller's Response to Fred Watkins' towing incident

It has come to our attention, that a Fred Watkins, a resident at Parc on Summit, a condominium association in Seattle, WA, is posting opinions on the internet and stating them as fact. A search of ownership records does not reflect Mr. Watkins as an owner.

Our understanding is that Mr. Watkins has created a web-site called "The Slum on Summit" in which he makes false claims and allegations against The Board of Directors for The Parc on Summit and Kappes Miller Management, the managing agent for the Association.

We are unable to control content on the internet, so people are free to make false claims without oversight. Kappes Miller Management has been in business for over 25 years. We are the recognized leaders in the condominium management industry for the Puget Sound Area. We enjoy a wonderful reputation for serving our clients with the highest degree of integrety and honor.

While I do not know why Mr. Watkins is making these claims, it is common for disgruntled owners and/or residents of a condominium association to attack the volunteer Board and/or the management company for the association.
