Hired Karen Smiley on 5Jun2018 to make screen patio into a sunroom, signed contract and put down $1500 deposit on the $5700 bid. workers came out 11Jun2018 set my patio out side in the elements and removed the screen enclosure, haven’t been back. When I call it goes to voice mail. I text asking for part of my deposit back, karen text saying she spent it on the windows although I haven’t seen any windows. Seems she has left a trail from Michigan to Florida doing this to other homeowners and her employees. She has an arrest report in Sarasota Fl for theft in 2017. She has worked under the company names of:Karen Tree Service Homassas, K&S Sod and More. Her business partner is Samuel R Cordar both of Auburndale.
