On 09/30/2011, I put an order in for aluminum, diamond plate bed railcaps for my  Toyota Tacoma.

I call customer service and waited for 30 minutes with nobody taking my call. I call again this time not to elect extension 2, I speak to a man who assures me and says my part is on its way. We talked about my part being a 2011 Tacoma. He says no problem.



On 10/08/2011, part reaches my house. To my surprise part does not fit, not even close. My bed rails are twice as wide as the ones I recieved.



On 10/08/2011, I email Parts Specialist Team that their part doesn't fit, inform them I will call following Monday at 0700 their time.

On 10/10/2011 I call and waited on hold for 30 minutes with no customer service rep. Try their online chat and reach a human. The person tells me they will email me a return address shortly, it never comes.



On 10/11/2011 reach Cale via telephone says basically I not going to get a refund or be able to get a new part that is the correct size. I tell Cale I'm sending it back.



On 10/11/2011 Cale sends me an email saying, We are unable to process a return request for this item as it is special ordered, and the warehouse has denied the return. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you.

 

So, after all this I am out $107.98. Numerous emails, phone calls and chat verifying my transaction I feel cheated. 



Don't do business with KASA Auto Parts (MyHotTacoma)!

Customer ordered the wrong part himself and we sent him exactly what he ordered. He has a 2010 toyota and the part he ordered clearly shows only fits 01-04. He also used my name in the report which I never spoke to him as I am only in sales he spoke to customer service about a return. Customer returned part without an required Return Authorization number and was still refunded anyway. So everthing in this report is not true. Thanks
