We purchased a female bulldog puppy for $1790 cash (paid in full) on 9/9/04. On 9/11/04 the puppy became very ill. Come to find out she had parvo. We had her less than 48 hours when she started showing symptoms. She was being treated by Trisha's vet for 6-7 days for what we were told was the Parvo Virus. Obviously we were sold a sick puppy even though in their advertising they state, "We strive to breed only sound temperment, non-agressive dogs with healthy off-spring.

Our dogs come with an outstanding pedigree with emphasis on quality of health" Trisha also assured us that all her puppies were healthy and had a 1 year health guarantee.

On 9/17/04 our puppy was taken to an actual vet's office and we weren't even notified. It wasn't until we called late that evening to find out how she was doing were we told that she took a turn for the worst. We went to see her at the vet's office after not seing her for 1 week.

She looked horrible. She was so boney and lathargic. She had what looked like a burn on her tummy. The vet told us she was very bad. Both my wife and I cried. 2 days later we went to see her again and she had developed a cough and the wound on her tummy was getting worse. It was oozing with blood and other liquids.

The vet told us that whom ever was treating her, caused the wound. She was put to sleep on 9/21/04. We only got to spend less than 48 hours with our new puppy.

Of course, we signed a contract that states that there are no refunds. And if a puppy were to get sick, they would replace it with another. So we had no choice but to get another puppy and hope that we would not have to go through the heart ache again. Trisha assured us that she had "never" sold 2 sick puppies to anyone.

We went to pick out a new puppy on 9/30/04. We picked another female. She offered to keep her until 10/5/04 so she could make sure that she was "healthy" and so she could give her a second Parvo shot.

We went to pick her up on 10/5/04 and Trisha told us we could not take her home yet becuase she wanted to give her a third Parvo shot and to really make sure that she was healthy. She told us to come back on 10/12/04.

We went to pick up our puppy on 10/12/04. When we got there she told us that our puppy had gotten "diarrhea" and that she had taken her to her vet's home. She told us it was probably from the change of food. She told us that she had called the vet and the vet told her that she was lathargic from the diarrhea. We asked her when she was taken to the vet's home.

She told us she was taken in on 10/10/04. Once again, nobody notified us and we had made the trip out to Lake Elsinore for nothing. She tried pushing another puppy on us, but we told her we wanted our puppy. She told us she was getting more puppies in later that week and that she would call us th next day. We called the vet to see how our puppy was doing. She said she had an upper respiratory infection, was vomitting & had diarrhea. But she said it WAS NOT fatal. We called Trisha on Friday to see how our puppy was doing since the vet did not answer the phone.

Trisha told us that our puppy passed away from a virus the day before. Once again, no phone call. She said she was sorry and that she had NEVER had 2 puppies get sick like that. She finally offered a refund, but said she would have to pay us back in payments!??

She just got in 14 puppies this past weekend ($1600x14=$22,400) and she does not have the money to pay us back our $1790 that we paid in full.

We want our money back in full so we can buy a healthy puppy from a real breeder. Not one that gets their puppies from who knows where. (Europe, Ukraine, etc...) We didn't even know where they came from until it was too late.

Trisha Slack's response was that she can pay us in payments and that's all she could do. Then she told us "Sue Me"....

Buyers Beware! Don't risk the heartache we just went through! And we aren't the only ones she has sold sick puppies to!
