Deceptive advertising. Cereals in big boxes. Half the box is air.

Makes you think you are getting more than you are. All consumers are being ripped off. Like a ten horse briggs engine under the hood of my car. Check out that thin layer of grey meat on the bottom of your wrapped package of hamburger.

Now for something completely different

The air that has been injected into those cereal boxes has been infected with an insidious gas manufactured in one of those facilities that produce weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Donald Rumsfeld knows exactly where that facility is located, but we're going to have to invade Iraq and start WW III anyway, because that way we'll forget about how the CEO's of all the major corporations in the U.S. have been picking our pockets for years, and that all their minions are now scurrying like cockroaches under a fluorescent light to plea bargain so that they won't have to do time in a place where you literally "take it in the shorts".

Where does that leave us? Well, we've all been infected with the gas (which has been identified as "stupid gas" by one of the numerous leaks in the Bush administration) and are now subject to mind infiltration by a shadowy group of terrorists who "look kinda Middle-Eastern, talk funny and manage convenience stores when they're not building dirty bombs from depleted plutonium rods purchased from the defunct states of the ex-Soviet Union with Green Stamps, which look like U.S. dollars to ignorant foreigners".

Seriously now, folks, there's definitely a change in regime in order, but it's in our own country. Don't let our leaders take us down the path of destruction to further their own agendas in the name of patriotism. I am a military retiree, and as patriotic as you can get, but I resent being force-fed the propaganda this administration is putting out. We need, and deserve, the real facts. If you settle for the hand-job the administration is setting you up for, then the "stupid gas" is working.

When was the last time you bought a box of cereal?

This is a revelation? Boxes of cereal, bags of potato chips, etc have been packed this way for decades! Read the label where it says that the contents may settle due to shipping and handling! Maybe it's B.S. but it's not earth-shattering news. Why not worry about something significant in life, like why President Bush wants to start WW III or why major U.S. corporations hire accounting firms who would apparently have a hard time balancing a checkbook?
