I was approached by Universal Merchant Services and was told that I could save money by signing up with them. Their representative Kelly Long gave me a price comparison which did not make any mention of the fees. I was told by her that if I should decide to cancel my account with them that the lease for the credit card terminal could be taken over by another party. I later found this to be a lie that she told just to get me to sign up. I sent the equipment back to leasecom and told my bank not to allow them to make any withdrawls from my account. I am still receiving request for payment now from a collection agency. I have passed this to my attorney and he is now in the process of getting them off my back.
