Kelly Schnorenberg is at it again, but this time he has been caught! Many people saw this coming from his time when he was at HGi (Hegemon International) where he was partnered with Hubert Humphrey, who also has a less than stellar past when it comes to integrity. (See other reports on Hubert Humphrey and his son Jody Humphrey) He is accused by the Colorado securities regulators of using $11 million in investments for his own personal expenses and a judge has temporarily barred him from selling securities in the state and froze his current assets and prohibits him from any destruction of records.
The hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 19 to determine if the court should enter a preliminary injunction against Schnorenberg, Kahler, and KJS Marketing from further solicitation of investor funds.
The allegations say that Schnorenberg solicited investments in amounts ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 in insurance and financial companies that suppossedly needed money to recruit and train insurance sales agents, who would then sell insurance products. They were promised 10-12% guaranteed returns. The victims were told that these were “risk free” investments.
The division alleges that Schnorenberg is currently soliciting investor funds for WealthSmart America, LLC, and is purportedly funneling the vast majority of the funds to himself, his mother, and his long-time girlfriend. It also says that Schnorenberg sought investor funds for a series of companies: Salus Marketing Enterprises, Trinity Affiliated Group, Premier Advantage Insurance Agency, Hegemon Holdings (HGI International), and Quantum Success Strategies (QS2).
According to the complaint, most investors were told within a year that the company they invested in failed. They were encouraged to roll their assets into a new insurance sales company on the same terms. In some cases, funds were redirected to new companies without the investors’ knowledge, the complaint alleges.

Schnorenberg sentenced to 76 years. Will he turn state's evidence now on Hubert Humphey?

Well it has sure heated up now! People are speculating that now that the 76 year sentence has offically been passed down on Mr Schnorenberg that he will try to have his sentence reduced by turning states evidence against Hubert Humphrey of Hegemon Group Intrenational/Hegemon Holdings (HGI) who are named in the complaint.
Word is that Hegemon was orginally financed with over $2.5M that Mr Schnorenberg raised and gave to Mr Humphrey to start the company.

Two More Leaders Facing Charges. Hegemon Group Intrenational (HGI) and Hubert Humphrey May be Next

Two more of Kelly Schnorenberg's associates, Tony Reyes and Craig Kahler are now facing charges in this contracted criminal and civil legal battle . No doubt more of his associates will be drawn into this as possible plea deals will be struck. Suspicions of Hubert Humphrey and Jody Humphrey being named soon come because Mr. Humphrey's company, Hegemon Holdings (AKA HGI and Hegemon Group International), is mentioned by name. Mr. Schnorenberg & Mr. Humphrey raised the money for HGI using these ponzi scheme methods.

Kelly Schnorenberg Arrested
AUTHOR: - ()
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, March 16, 2016
Kelly Schnorenberg was indicted last Thursday by a Colorado State Grand Jury and charged with two counts of theft — one over $20,000 and one over $1 million — and 37 felony counts of securities fraud, department spokeswoman Jillian Sarmo said today.
Schnorenberg’s bond was initially set at $1 million and was reduced to $125,000 during his court appearance today. He remains in custody in a Douglas County, Colo., jail. His next court date has not been set.
The businesses included Salus Marketing Enterprises, Premier Advantage Insurance Agency, Trinity Affiliated Group, Hegemon Holdings, Quantum Success Strategies, and most recently, WealthSmart America. Will Hubert Humphrey and/or Jody Humphrey be the next to be arrested since Hegemon (HGI International) allegedy recieved funds and is a named company in the case?

Hearing Results

Kelley Schnoreberg and Craig Kahler have now been ordered to stop selling bogus securities that have defrauded more than $11 million from scores of investors to invest in WealthSmart America, Hegemon Holdings (AKA- HGI International, or Hegemon Group International - A Hubert Humphrey company), Quantum Success Strategies (AKA- QS2), Salus Marketing Enterprises, Trinity Affiliated Group, and Premier Advantage Insurance agency. The companies never turned a real profit or produced returns for investors, according to the court documents.
The injunction also names as relief defendants Schnorenberg’s girlfriend Fortunata Rickard, his mother Betty Schnorenberg who lives in Casper, Antonio Reyes and Michael Gundzik. Schnorenberg got a lot of the money, according to court documents. Bank records show Schnorenberg, KJS and Kahler received about $2.8 million from investors from May 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015. Of that, Schnorenberg withdrew about $1.3 million in cash. About $155,400 went to his girlfriend, $100,500 went to his mother, and about $75,000 went to other personal expenses.
It will be interesting to see what further charges will come to play if and when the SEC and the AGs get involved. It will also be interesting as the facts come out to see the other names of repients of the fraudulantly raised money...
- How much if any, did Hubert Humphrey or Jody Humphrey of Hegemon Group International receive since the money raising started during the time when Mr. Schnorenberg was partnered with Mr. Humphrey at HGI?
- Were they, or anyone else a part of this plot to defraud the investors?
- Who else may be involved?
- Will there be clawbacks owed by all parties that received funds?
This will all be interesting to watch as it all shakes out.
