I bought an F-150 Harley Davidson from this dealership about 18 months ago. They said I had to buy an extended waranty to qualify for the loan. Now my motor went out. The service dept said Ford won't honor the waranty because one of the coil packs was not an original ford part and it was missing the wire.

My personal mechanic told me there were 3 wires that basically melted due to the intense heat. And the coil pack they said was not original was on the vehicle when it was sold to me.

The man who called me was very professional. He knew I was going to be upset. Because I told him I did not want excuses. And they had turned my truck down two weeks earlier when I told them my differential did not seem right.

All they do is say no to your waranty problems. Now I need new tires, wheel allignment and a front break service before they can check my differential again.

They did comp the deductable on it that time. But I know I have to pay a deductable this time. Just for them telling me my motor is no good. Oh, and by the way. We won't cover it because this dealership sold you a truck with a part that is not a Ford product. "And that part caused a chain reaction that ruined your motor."

I am a big time Ford guru. I even have the Cobra tattooed on me. But this time. Instead of buying a Ford Edge from a dealership I used to think the world of. I think I will get a Kia instead. You lose on the long run Ken Grody Ford.
