Kenneth Adams All Together Construction Took 2,000 and never did any work - DO NOT HIRE North Royalton Ohio

Thank you for your comments and acknowledgement of the lack of services, related fraud and complaints against All Together and Ken Adams. We are also going to proceed with any and all possible actions to try and make sure this stops - although I am sure there are many other people out there that have been a victim of this as well.

I couldn’t agree more with your recommendation not to hire Ken Adams.

I hired Ken Adams of All Together Construction for a kitchen remodel and to refinish our floors. He told us it was a 3-4 week job. Floors were paid for in full, but he sub contracted the work to a deck staining company that absolutely destroyed our floors. We have to have them 100% re-done from scratch and pay another company to do so because Ken would not refund our money. We also paid in full for a granite countertop to be installed.

He took the money, cashed the check immediately, and 6 months later (a far cry from 3-4 weeks) we still had no countertop and our house was torn apart with incomplete work. When we asked him to finally put the countertop in he told us, and I’ll quote his email, that he was “holding the granite hostage” You see, he was paid for everything except what was due upon completion, as which point he disappeared for several months. He then wanted the money due upon completion up front (mind you again, he was paid all balances owed except what was due UPON COMPLETION and he was nowhere near complete)

PLUS he demanded extra money on top of that which was in excess of what was in our contract or else he was not finishing the job, keeping the countertop money, and not delivering the countertop. So at the end of the day we had to eat almost $10,000 and hire another contractor to come finish the work. He also never installed the countertop and kept all of the money we paid for it.

You should also note that he runs the Rabbit Ratings website with Paula Adams, his wife. Of course, the public doesn’t know that. There is a rip off report on that site as well. He used to run Dream Works Home Improvement LLC  (see BBB for the F rating and similar conduct to All Together Construction). So, he gets poor reviews for Dream Works Home Improvement LLC, closes the business, re-opens as All Together Construction, and starts the website Rabbit Ratings where All Together becomes a self-proclaimed 5 star rabbit rated company to gain business from unsuspecting consumers.

As a new company at the time no other sites had reviews on All Together Construction that I could find. I will be pursuing civil cases against both All Together Construction and Rabbit Ratings. I will also be filing complaints with every county attorney’s office in which Rabbit Ratings claims to service and the Ohio and US Consumer Protection Agencies in hopes of preventing this from happening to more people.
