Morgan Drexan ripped us off and refuses to return our funds. They drafted our bank account for 2 years taking out 230.00 every month and never settled any debts with our creditors Internet, Internet

We saw an advertisement on television by Morgan Drexan stating that if you owe $10,000.00 or more in debt call us, we are backed by the government and will save you thousands of dollars and work with your creditors to get your debts paid off and save you money.

We called the number they provided the person representing Morgan Drexan said they would need for us to send them a cancelled check with our banking information and complete some paperwork authorizing them to work with our creditors to get our debts reduced and paid out of a trust that the monthly draft were being deposited.

After waiting about 24 month and getting very little info or feedback we called and inquired why none of our debts had been paid, they gave us all kinds of lame excuses why they had not been paid off. They said that they had sent numerous letters to these creditors and was waiting to hear back from them and that the process took time. After finally realizing that this was taking too long and our credit was getting worse and that they were just stringing us along, we contacted our bank and requested to have the bank draft stopped.
 
A rep from Morgan Drexan called wanting to know why we cancelled the draft, and we explained why. We requested to have all of our funds returned to us and they said they would need to fax us more documents for us to request the refund, which we filled out and sent back. More time passed and we had not received our money back so we kept calling and we kept getting a run around, and getting hung up on. It's been over a year or more since we cancelled our contract with them and still we have not received any of our money back.
 
We have contacted the attorney general's office and they told us that there is a pending class action suit against them. I would advise anyone looking to get debt counseling or debt reduction services to do your homework, contact the Better Business Bureau, or go to a reputable bank or credit union or work directly with the creditors yourself.

This has been a very bad experience for us and we are so upset that we allowed this to happen to us, but we are willing to share our experiences with others to prevent them from going thru the same horrible experience that we and hundreds of others all over the country have had with this company. They need to be prosecuted for taking advantage of hard working, innocent individuals that were already struggling to pay off debt. They betrayed our trust and now we have a hard time trusting any business now because of what they did to us. We hope that our story can benefit others.
