Kensington Consulting Group Ripoff Sent me a postcard regarding financial assistance programs and New York New York

I received a post card regarding financial assistance on government programs that I would be eligible. It requested that I call and find out if I am approved. I did what they told me and they asked me some questions and said I was approved for at least $4,000.00 in government grants and that if I did not receive up to at least $4,000.00 that I would get my deposit back of $327.00.

The deposit was for the company researching government grants that I was eligible for and within 6 months I would receive a package of applications of grants I was eligible. At first I was hesitant and they told me that I could go to their website at www.kensingtonconsult.com which I did and it showed a website with information regarding The Kensington Group and what they offered the same address and phone number on the post card, then they said I would be receiving a package regarding their company and a screening questionaire. I received a packet with First Financial Assistance Programs I could apply for and a screening questionaire. It stated that once I filled out the screening questionaire properly and signed it they would be able to assist me more with specific programs that are tailored to my needs and conditions. Now they have my signature and my checking/savings account information and a lot of information where they can steal my identity. Six months went by and the last time I spoke with the company was in June of 2006 and they said I would receive my packet by 6/30/06 and if I did not receive it to call their toll free number which no longer works. HELP!!!
