Kerry Bretz and Jules Coven of Bretz & Coven are the most cruel, arrogant, careless, abusive, and meanest Immigration Attorneys I have ever met. They don't even do your case - they merely assign it to some third world law clerk who barely speaks any English and the work comes out like total crap and their clients usually and most of the time get deported. The problem is they charge you an arm and a leg to do your case, charging poor defenseless immigrants $50,000 for a simple political asylum case when all they do is give the case to a totally incompetent paralegal each and every time. Kerry Bretz has a sick summer house in Mexico however paid for with this blood money where he recruits even more immigration victims (clients). Try getting a lawyer on the phone after you have paid them - GOOD LUCK! It is impossible and no one will call you or email you back for WEEKS!! Stay away from this awful and exploiting "law firm" that preys on the weak and ignorant.

????? BRETZ & COVEN WORK FOR I.C.E and I.N.S. to remove all non-financial slaves. allen m. 1 Bretz and Coven, LLP I came the USA at the age of 13 yrs old. Permanent resident for 28 yrs. Never travel out-side the USA. Don`t know anyone outside the USA. Payed B&C $20,000 to fight my case. Last conviction was in 1994 for grand larceny auto, with other violation(not crime). The original attorney hired for the pass 6month was replace at final hearing, which cause a lose in case. DO NOT HIRE BRETS & COVEN or you will be deported. Bretz & coven are former immigration judge(Jesuits= Scum on earth), They work for INS and ICE to get most case deported. ????? Most arrogant attorneys in NYC!! Pat D. 1 Bretz and Coven, LLP Eileen Bretz is the most arrogant attorney in NYC. I had the misfortune of getting an interview with this "firm". They call you, have you waste your time and money by going there, they have you waiting in their lobby, filling out paperwork... And then just then, they have their receptionist give you a silly excuse to finally tell you they won't be able to see you. ????? Immigration practice Amanda11 1 Bretz and Coven, LLP I have encounter the worst bunch with this firm. I had the misfortune of meeting Mr Bretz in person all he wants from the defenseless immigrant is his money, then he send you to the parralegal. Mr Bretz is very arrogant and look down to people even tough he is not doing his job. He lost the idea that as an immigration lawyer he should be compassionate, but his arrogance and ego gets the best of him. I met him once and I was repulse at the way he treat sand talks to you. I think he should work against the immigrant that pay his bills. Any way, he messed up my case for over eight years ( 12,000 in fees and duplication of work) and let the parallegal run the show. I'll advise anyone thats looking for a lawyer to stay away from the Bretz and Coven, however if you wants a parallegal firm they are the number one in the city.
