Keystone RV Manufacture We purchased a new Keystone Raptor Fithwheel Toyhauler. We store it covered with a tarp year round. On our third trip out with the fithwheel the roof covering ripped back about 4 feet exposing the wooded top. We contacted Keystone and were told that the camper was out of warranty and wold not be covered. We had purchased a ins policy to "cover any repairs" but we're also told that this did not cover a roof repair/replacement. This tear was caused by. Manufacturing defect but Keystone would not take any responsibility. Keystone RV and camper manufacturing. Nationwide

 Purchased new, 2014 Keystone Raptor Toy Hauler Fithwheel in 2014. We store this covered at all times. On our 3rd trip out in 2014 on vacation the rubber roof ripped back 4 to 5 feet. When we contacted Keystone about a repair they told us the repair was not covered by Keystone. We believe pulling back of the rubber roof covering was do to a manufacturing defect. Not all of the edge of the covering was captured under the trim and this allowed the air to get under the covering and precipitated the ripping back of the covering. There also did not appear to have glue to hold the covering to the wooden roof material. When taken to a dealer repair shop the employee (does not want to be identified) told us our Fithwheel was the 3rd one to come in his shop in the past few months with the same ripping off problem. They actually had one in the shop the week before. He also commented that they were all 2014 model Keystone products. We feel that there was a manufacturing "glitch" on this model and that Keystone should admit and be held accountable and responsible for these repairs. Even though Keystone would not take responsibility, they should be investigated and made to prevent this from happening to other customers. Do you have the predelivery inspection documents?

I would like to know if you have all of the documents related to the purchase of this RV most do not save them ?

 It will be really easy for me to give you some good advice if you have all of the documents. 

 Did they ever provide you with any documents related to a predelivery inspection report and did that dealership provide you with any documents to show that they did a complete LP gas system check to make sure the LP gas system does not have any leaks and of the regulator is operating at the manufacture specific pressures ?

 Tell me more about your story.  I am an expert witness and I help  law firm's boutique RV dealerships to court for the consumer.
