Jan of 2015 i visited the Kia of Orange Park dealership to look into trading my 2nd Kia in on a 3rd Kia. I was greeted by JB a sales person and we talked about my needs. I was conflicted between a cheaper model or one with more options that i wasn't sure i could afford. JB asked what it would take to get me into the higher end model and i said lower payments at which point he went and returned with James Schott. He had a piece of paper with 60 days no payments and asked if the help me make the decision to buy the higher end model, i said it would. JB and i started writing up my paperwork, i had no reason to question what James has offered me.

The transaction completed i waited past the 60 days with no payment made by Kia, so i called and talked to JB and he said he would look into it for me. He said the waivo was not in the paperwork stating that Kia was to make said payment, so he advised me to talk to James who had made the offer. He told me he had not made the offer and that anyone could say he made them an offer and that didn't make it true, he basically called me a liar. I then asked to talk to the General Manager Richard DeAugustine and James said he would have him return my call, i waited again for several weeks no call. I then called James again and he said he would have Richard call me back, about 10 minutes later James called me back and said they had decided to cut me a check and give him a few days to get it out. Again I believed him my mistake again, when i didn't reveive said check i called back and he denied ever having called me back.

I  then sent Mr DeAugustine a letter detailing all this and he never even bothered to respond or contact me about this matter. I have purchased 3 Kias but will not deal with this dealership again, i refuse to even have my vehicle serviced there I have filed a complaint with Kia and i will continue to let anyone  know how this dealership does business they ignore you once they complete the sale. After all this i highly recommend JB he was excellent and even tried to help me with this issue but didn't get anywhere, they just ignored him also.

First of all when we sale a car we have the customer sign a we owe u owe if we promised the customer we would take care of 60 day no payment it would be in writing and she would have a copy. That did not happen because no promises were made to get a sale .I told the customer it is 45 days till first payment and a10 day grace period that's 55 days not 60 or cut a check. This is just one persons opinion and it's not fair to lie about the situation. If someone promised to pay my car payments I would have it in writing before I left the dealership.
