After inquiring about a toy chihuahua from Doha to Dubai this scam artist ask to send a small amount of money with a Q and A from western union. The Q and A was supposed to be used to not be able to get the money until we send him the answer. After we sent the money (to his 'little girl' in Cameroon) he said he was on his way to the airport in Qatar.
When he arrived at the airport he said he needed more money for the 'insurance' and 'travel case' for the small dog which was 100% refundable. When we tried to get the contacts to send the money direct to the apparent agents he said they do not due it this way. Being new to this region we really had no idea how things were done.
After we sent the money to his daughter again he sent us confirmation that the dog was on her way to our home. We stayed at home all night and reported to security that the we were expecting the animal. The package did not show up. When we finally got in contact with him he said that we were not home (even though we were) and the animal was sent into UK to be quarentined. After fighting it out with him for more money (that was again refundable) we were set up to the website www.airpostcarrierservice.tk and an email address of email@example.com that confirmed the animal was there.
Then then gave us the website agian to make the payment to them directly with visa but the website showed technical problems and we could not pay them. After geting in touch with this email again they said the sender can only pay them the money. So we told Kilborn Nelson L. That he should pay and we will send more money to him when the dog arrives. He did not want to do this and tried to make us feel bad by saying 'what are you doing to your baby'.
We gave in and sent the money. Again he confirmed that the package is on its way and we recieve another confirmation from Airpost Carrier Service [firstname.lastname@example.org] saying the animal will be delivered the next day. The next day he was unable to get us a flight number and we also did some research on his site which was not found under weebly.com anymore. we were also able to find his credit card number and when we ran it, it came up invalid.
When going to the tracking website we found you can use any name and tracking number and it would show 'package avalible pending delivery'. We alway had a thought that we were being taken but feared if there was an actually small dog in the middle of all this. To use a small dog like this to scam people out of money is cowardly and I hope this guy gets what is coming to him!!
