Hi Heartbroken, Im very glad to hear you got your little dog back.  I was reading about it on some online articles.. I too noticed the release date on the jail records online and had to cringe......now back to looking over my shoulder, and reminding the kids to run if they ever see him driving by, life was a little more peaceful when I knew he was locked up in jail.  It really doesnt surprise me that he is bugging you again (well maybe Im a little surprised that he didnt even wait a day or two before contacting you)  nothing will change this "person"  he is truely sick!  Just be careful and hopefully the police can do something before he does something drastic again.   If any new information comes about will you please post it! Unfortunatly the State of MN could not extradite him here because it is a family court warrent here....but I know he will be back in MN sometime and he will be arrested here when he arrives and pay for the things he has done here!

  And Kim, if your reading this....... this is a reminder that you have two BIOLOGICAL kids (you will never be considered their "father" they gave you a second chance and they have been screwed over by you for the last time - its sad but they had you figured out at 10 years old!)  that you have a financial responsibility too  and owe them over $68,000 - thats pretty bad when your child support payment is $650 a month - thats a long time to be a deadbeat worthless theif!  I'm working 2 jobs (recently applied for a 3rd ) to try and make up for your worthless a*s not supporting them - unfortunately they still suffer because they should be able to spend more time with their parent who wants to be with them.  Good thing they have Grandpa Joe who does a wonderful job trying to make up for the fact that I am constantly working - I am Blessed to have such a wonderful father who loves those girls!  I cant wait until you get what you deserve you little pathetic worthless loser!

I just wanted to inform everyone that Kim has been arrested (again). He was arrested in Oaklahoma City on 04/17/09. Currently the charges are unauthorized use of a vehicle...but Im sure there will be additional charges brought forward since he did steal the vehicle and someones dog and held it for ransom, collected the ransom and then when he was finally caught, stated the dog ran away! Just another example of the evil monster Kim is. He also has other warrants in various states which should also surface, including Ramsey County, MN. I just want to tell the latest person (that we know of) who was a victim of Kim that my heart goes out to them and I hope their dog is returned to them soon. I also want to thank them for hiring private investigators because without their help, Kim would still be roaming the streets and committing crimes. Hopefully the jail system will not fail (like they have in the past) and keep Kim locked up so he can serve thew appropriate time for his crimes! Please give updates regarding the status of your dog - I really hope that you have found it! Thanks again and sorry that Kim had to cross your path and spread his usual chaios and misery!

I just came across this website and all the unbelieveable information about Kim R. Turnquist. I wish we would have see it all before it was too late! Kim worked for our company for a few months in Texas & Oklahoma. He stole our car, our sweet dog and extorted money from us! The Texas police have a warrant for his arrest and will go to any state to extradite him.

I filed a seperate report on this website under "Animal Abuse". He locked our family dog in the vehicle he stole from us and then abandoned the car! We are heartbroken at the thought of our beloved dog dying a slow and grueling death!
Kim said that if we didn't immediately wire him money, he wouldn't give us the location of the car! Out of desperation, we wired the money, and as we feared... we never heard back from him with the location. He has ignored all of our calls and text messages.

Kim has probably skipped town... onto another city or state to find his next victim.
Lets work together to catch him so that other innocent people aren't victimized like we all were. We are bound and determined to see that he reaps the consequences of his actions!

Well the update for this month is:

The warrant for Kim's arrest will be effective on Feb 13, 2009. Kim was given 15 days to AGAIN clear up his empty promises and pay a portion of is $62,400 he owes in Child support. Still hasnt paid a penny, but he can sure spend money at the bar. I guess you cant blame him....he is such an evil, monster, human being, who screws his kids over (and over and over) that he needs to numb himself with booze and smoke his crack to help himself forget the REAL person he is! Also he was living with his brother in Woodbury but as of last weekend they got kicked out for not paying their rent, so for the time being he is living in peoples' basements until he can get to Texas. That is his next plan.... and he is trying to hitch a ride with someone who is driving back to Texas in the next week.

ALSO just a bit of advice: to the poor girl (who has no clue what she has got herself into) housing Kim/and brother for the time being, LOCK UP AND HIDE ANYTHING OF VALUE BECAUSE IT WILL DISAPPEAR! I ALSO BET YOU HAVE NOTICED THINGS BEING "MISPLACED" ALREADY! It is a shame because he really chooses very nice people to scam.

I just wanted to give an update regarding Mr. Turnquist. He was indeed arrested in Oct. 2008, for being in contempt of court for not paying child support. Unfortunatly, he had conned the Ramsey county attorney while he was in jail (AMAZING!!!!) and convinced her that he couldnt pay child support while he was in jail....and if she would let him out of jail he would begin to pay some of the $62,000 that he now owes. He was let out a few days before Thanksgiving 2008. Kim claimed that he worked for an insurance company and would be able to collect a lot of money, if he was released from jail, and then would begin paying his arrears of $62,000. I also guess another deciding factor was that while in jail, Kim was tutoring fellow jail inmates, and that seemed to impress Ramsey county that he was doing that so they decided that he must be a trust worthy person in some way! Forget the fact that he is a CON MAN/CONVICTED FELON! Forget that he owes over $62,000 in child support and has done completly unthinkable things to his kids that he hasnt seen in over 2 1/2 years. But because he played the role of a tutor...he must be reliable right? COME ON RAMSEY COUNTY have you never met a conman before???? Of course he is going to portray the nice person, if he didn't HE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO CON PEOPLE and/or rob from them. If he showed strangers (or people he recently met) his true colors right away he wouldnt be able to take advantage of them!

So in order for him to be released he agreed to pay $10,000 on Dec 22 and another $10,000 on Jan 22., and then $1,000 monthly thereafter! Now if he didn't do this, his warrant was to become activated and he was to go back to jail. I had contacted child support and let them know of my disgust of them letting him out of jail with no payment. But they were convinced that he would make the payments because he gave them their word!!!!!! WHAT A JOKE!

Well not to my surprise December 22 came and went and there was no credit ( not even a penny) to child support. I again contacted Child support to see what the problem was. My case worker had informed me that they were looking for the check and couldnt find it at the moment!!!! Kim had made child support believe that they had lost the check he sent in! I explained to the case worker that I know who Kim is and I know what he is capeable of, and I cant believe they actually think that he has sent a check in! Kim had also told child support that he sent in a CASHIERS CHECK but had misplaced the receipt for it. I then explained to my case worker that if a person was to send in $10,000 and by doing that it would keep them out of jail, they are definately not going to LOSE THEIR CASHIERS CHECK RECEIPT.!!!

HELLO!!!!!!! ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF OUR HARD EARNED TAX DOLLERS BEING WASTED!!WHY ARE WE EVEN PAYING THIS DEPARTMENT?

Now, to make a long story shorter..... apparently Kim's bank couldnt reissue another check until Jan 16. He then told child support he would personally bring in that re-issued $10,000 check on Jan 16. I explained to my child support worker that it wasnt going to happen and he was just buying time so he can get out of the state! She still believed his "WORD" and told me that she thinks he would bring the check in and if for some reason he didn't she would reissue the warrant because he also has the next $10,000 payment due on Jan 22.

WELL NOT TO MY SURPRISE IT IS NOW JANUARY 25, 2009 AND THERE HAS BEEN NO CHECK RECEIVED. As of today there has not been a copy of the reissued warrant sent to my mailbox either! So now we get to go through the whole process of getting the warrant signed by the judge, trying to locate the deadbeat crackhead loser and then trying to actually get a payment from him. GREAT WORK RAMSEY COUNTY CHILD SUPPORT!

I have also informed child support that I am contacting my state representitive and the local media because my daughters well being has been ignored for too many years. This would not "hold water" in any other county or any other state for that matter. It makes me sick to work my butt off and pay taxes and have my money go to an agency who is completly incompetent!!!

ALSO WHEN YOU READ THIS KIM....think about the monster you are...think about the hardships you have created for my daughters, think of what you have done to them over the years. At least you ignored them on their birthday 2 months ago....that is much better for them than to receive 1 or 2 calls a year from you. You live 10 miles from them and act like they dont exist. You know what you worthless piece of crap, I think I am mad at you the most for not financially contributing and not allowing me (the only parent who LOVES to be with them) more time with them. Instead I have to work crazy, long, overtime hours to try to pay for their life, instead of being able to spend quality mother daughter time with them!! I hope you burn in hell you crack-head!

I just want you to know that last Fri. Kim has finally been arrested and sent to the Ramsey county workhouse. He has been a busy guy within the last few weeks causing all sorts of commotion up here. He was arrested on 10/24/Fri I did send in a response regarding this but for whatever reason it was not posted. I am going to try to contact you at the location that you last stated. I had talked to Da mon and the stories he had told me were AMAZING. Kim is more screwed up than I previously believed. Nothing is a shock when dealing with him....there is no limit when dealing with him....no matter who you are. I am contacting his probation officer in Anoka county tomorrow. If there are any charges in Louisianna you need to contact Ramsey county workhouse in MN. I will talk to you soon.

Hi, I am Kim Turnquist's little sister and i just want to make sure everybody gets a real clear picture of who Kim REALLY is , we all have been fooled by Kim...It's not easy to sit here and have to say that everything im reading about my brother is the truth, but i cant pretend . Kim has been a horrible father as long as i can rememeber, growing up when i was just a little girl i remember how great a brother he was to me but that didn't last long, about 11 years ago my own flesh in blood that was my role model, my big brother, my best friend had stole from me, he was the guardian on my bank account and went and cleared my bank account out, if he can do this to his 8 year old sister he CAN and WILL do it to anyone. Kim is a great scammer and unfortunately he ends up always engaging with such great people and taking advantage of ALL OF THEM!!!! I think about these beautiful daughters he has and i sit and think about my relationship with my father ( its priceless) but i think about the girls they dont have that relationship because THEIR dad is too selfish to STEP UP and be a man, besides that their better off without him, he obviously is not a healthy person and no one should have to be around that except for other scum like him. I sit back and see the damage he has caused our family, he has not only ruined his own reputation but he has done nothing but embarass our family. His daughters and our family deserve more from Kim so if you know him please dont help him, it will only make him more of a failure and he will only continue to take advantage of people and hurt his family. EVERYONE that comes across him NEEDS to do the right thing and make him grow up he needs to support himself on his own and the more people lend him a hand the harder this road will be. I wanted to send you a message. I have heard (through the grapevine) that you have been informed of some of the lies and deceipt that Kim has to offer. I hope you are viewing your situation carefully. I KNOW how he plays mind games and you just need to notice ALL of the red flags and RUN AWAY FAST! I think you should know that in addition to Kim owing my daughters $58,000, he also owes me personally approximately $30,000. Yes, I was awarded almost $30,000 in judgements from Kim about 8 years ago. There is too much detail to type but he scammed my personally in many ways. You can check public records in Ramsey county MN. He WILL rob you and your children and try to take every penny that the three of you have. He will start slow, and if you continue a relationship with him he will take from you EVERYTHING you have. When my daughters were about 1 year old it got so bad that I literally had friends bring groceries to my house so me and my children could eat (thank god for them).

And he won't stop at you and your kids he will steal from any relative you have if able. At the end of our relationship we were a little financially strapped for money and we needed a car. My dad was kind enough to loan us the money and it was agreed that my dad would get the title of the car until we paid him back. Instead of Kim handing the title over to my dad, he had put the title in his own name (without me knowing) and went and got a loan on the car (again without me knowing) and disappeared with the money. The car was then repo'ed due to non payment and my father was screwed for the money he bought the car with. THIS IS THE TYPE OF PERSON KIM IS!!!!!!

Also, don't you find it odd that Kim has been telling you that he is a little less stressed out now because he had paid some child support. I know that you have found out now that as of today (10/08/08) he has not made any payment since JULY OF 2007. Isn;t it weird that in addition to not taking care of his own flesh and blood he lies to people and says he does?

Also, Isn't it weird that he is living approximately 10 miles from my daughters and the only contact he has made with them was during the end of August when he sent them a text message proclaiming his love to them and promising them that he was going to send them child support so they can get school clothes, go to the fair, etc. After not following through with his promise to 11 year old children he has not tried to contact them what-so-ever. He just screwed them over like it is just a natural thing to do!!!!

He does have warrants in Washington county and within the next day or two will have one in Ramsey (it sure takes the judge a long time to sign a piece of paper but the judges assistant says it will be signed and put into effect by Fri.) The police tried to pick him up last Sat. at his brothers but missed him by 5 minutes. Now he is hiding like a rat. Can you imagine having to hide from the law like a rat because you screw over your own kids?

I don't understand why you would subject your children, who are luckey enough to not be related to him, to this mentally screwed up MONSTER. You and your kids deserve to have a man in your life who has a heart and won't take complete advantage of you all. If for some crazy reason you can't cut off ties with him, you should try something. For 1 or 2 months you should stop helping him financially..
1. Don't give him any more of you and your childrens money......don't wire a 33 year old person with basically no bills anymore money. Put the money that you are giving him in a college account for your kids.
2. Don't pay his cell phone bill. Why isn't he paying his own bill. He is physically healthy, why doesn't he get a job and pay his own bill. You already have 2 kids to care for. Why would you treat him like another child. He is capable of working, it's just that every job he gets he screws up because his main concern is snorting crap up his nose.
3. I know how persistant he is. You may have told him that you don't want anything to do with him. And he won't take that for an answer. You may even have to end up getting a restraining order on him.......and he won't take that for an answer. Just know that if you are planning on ending it with him it is going to take some work actually getting rid of him.

4. If you are not planning on ending it with him. Just do yourself (and kids) a favor and don't support him financially for a few months or give him a roof over his head. You will be amazed at how different you and your children will be treated. He is incapable of caring for ANYONE BUT HIMSELF. That is a fact....that is who he is!

I truely hope you stay strong and I truely hope the best for you and your family. I just feel obligated to inform another woman of the dangers of involving yourself with SCUM. Be careful and take care of your kids FIRST!!!!



PS hey Bofese if you are reading this I tried to call you at the pd in lafayette and they had no officer by that name. I have to be missing something here! I wanted to speak to a fellow police officer on how to handle these warrants, but now the little rat is in hiding.

On Sept 15, the Child support division had sent out a letter to Kim stating that he had 10 days to pay some of the $58,000 he owes in child support or there will be a warrant out for him in Ramsey county (there is already a warrant in Washington county). He did not respond or pay any child support, so today I received a letter stating that there is, in fact, a warrant out for him. I called Ramsey county to be sure that it is now in effect and they said that they just have to wait for the judge to sign it - which should be done tomorrow. So I am one step closer to having him sit in jail. I figure since my daughters are not getting anything from him now, at least the world will be a little safer with him behind bars. When the sheriff picks him up they are to immediatly transport him to the Workhouse where he will have to stay for the time he was sentenced back in 2001 for being in contempt for not paying child support. What kind of person is found in contempt of court 3 TIMES for not taking care of their kids? He is such a loser. Another thing about Kim is that he has not paid his brother any rent for living at his house. He has told his brother that he couldn't pay rent because he has been paying child support. I provided his family with the number to child support to prove to them that he hasn't made a payment since July 2007. He is such a pathetic lier. Kim will lie to ANYONE ABOUT ANYTHING. Also I find it amazing that he has screwed his daughters over so bad in their eleven years of life that he is now living 5 miles away from them and ther has been no contact with his own kids. I do think he realises that he has screwed them over soooo many times that there could never be a relationship with them anymore because he is such a piece of s**t. The last I have heard from him was when he had texed/called me in the middle of Aug. saying that he was going to pay child support. I wish I speak with both of you face to face. I am at the moment not able to speak to the ex girlfriend any further. She does not want to speak to me any further. Kim has her so snowed it is unbelievable. The last time I spoke to Kim was approximately two weeks ago when I started to get harassing phone calls from him from 11 pm until 330 am in the morning. I had a total of 14 missed calls from him. I spoke to her and told her that if it didn't stop I was going to meet with her soon to be ex husband and tell him and his attorney everything. She began telling me that Kim told her that I was texting him, but I found it funny because the last time he stated I was texting him I had dropped text messaging from my phone. That afternoon he called me wishing to speak to me as an adult, but then he started to lie about things. When I told him that it was his number that kept being shown, he changed his mind and started stuttering. So as of now she will not speak to me. Please don't get me wrong I am not a bad person. I just hate Kim Turnquist. I wish you Ms. Cara all the luck and happiness in the world. Mr. Da Man I haven't spoken to you or corresponded with you, but if you got information that would put him away, then take this advise from a police officer.....go see them and spill the beans. I am sorry he is putting you through this. I keep getting harassing phone calls from him due to him seeing one of my ex girlfriends here in Louisiana. I have filed several reports with the local law enforcement and I personally spoke with several law enforcement agencies in your area on Kim. I know for a fact that he is taking advantage of my ex girlfriend and her two kids. From what I am told he is trying to get her to move up there so he can have a steady income (hers). I have spoken to her ex husband who is trying to fight the move if it happens. I have left my email here before and I guess the sight keeps taking it off. I really would like to speak top you. I just recently told him on the phone how much of a loser he is and that I would love the opportunity to see him face to face for the grief he has caused me and my new girlfriend. He knows who I am and what I do for a living, so he is scared of me. I'm sorry if my previous comment didn't make sense. I'm at work and wasn't able to spend too much time typing in a response. I just want to be clear on the fact that Kim will only use women and their children for a roof over his head, and to steal from them any valueable items they may have. He goes searching for people(the more vulnerable the better) he can take advantage of he is nothing but a PREDITOR who wants to screw with peoples lives. He has ALWAYS been that way and he never will change.....that is who he is. He is VERY manipulative and has no conscious that is why I refuse to answer his phone calls. I have delt with him for over 13 years AND HE WILL NEVER CHANGE!!!!!! I wish someone had warned me about him 13 years ago, and the only thing I can do is warn others! I believe that because I wouldn't answer his phone calls last week, he thought he would make my twin daughters (11 yrs old) pay by texting them and telling them that he was gonna pay some of the money he owes them so they can get new school clothes, etc.. Again, how can he do that to CHILDREN who have already had him do unthinkable things to them. Why doesn't he just leave them alone, or at least understand the hurts he continues to cause them. They were delt a bad hand when it comes to having him as their "biological" dad. Also, Kim has so many unpaid fines, and warrants out for him in both MN and WI, that he needs to keep moving from state to state because when he is caught he is going to be in jail for a while. He was found in contempt in 1999 for not paying child support. He then purged his jail time by agreeing to pay monthly support plus 20% of arrears. He has not done that so he needs to serve jailtime for his contempt charges for 1999. And will have a courtdate set this week for still not paying and owing now over $58,000.00. he has had numerous restraining orders by various people, many bad checks written out by him, his landlord took him to court and won, and too much more to list. Also, he has been seen at various bars around here since he has been back in town....so don't believe his story that he is a recovering drug addict or AA. And, in addition to contacting me, he has tried to contact any of his ex-girlfriends he can, and it sound like his ex-girlfriend Jill hasnt been taken on a bad enough ride yet. mr. turnquist is back in minnesota. he is not in louisiana, however he contacted me. he is back up north and at his brother's residence. anyway i hope you do what you need to do in locating him and solving your problem. my opinion and my opinion only he is a bad person and will take advantage of any woman he comes in contact with like the one he is with now.

i have had dealings with mr. turnquist over the past few months. i personally know where he is currently located if anyone is interested. I know he was back in minnesota recently at his brother's in st. paul. he has currently returned to louisiana and is taking advantage of another person and her two minor children. if anyone needs to get in touch with me. contact me via email. i am curious to see if he has a warrant for his arrest for the back child support. i knew he was wanted in his home state, however he might have taken care of the outstanding warrant on his return.

Now it has been many months since I first reported. I just got a text message from the short deadbeat loser stating that he has read the report on the website. He now is behind $57,100. in child support and has caused unnecessary hardship for my daughters. He never should have come back in their lives and abandoned them AGAIN. They certainly never deserved that. And what kind of person does not give a hoot about their kids well being......a person so controlled by drugs that he will hurt and steal from children (and anyone else he can). Well as the saying goes He will lie, cheat and steal from EVERYONE to support his habit. WATCH OUT WORLD. On the positive, The state is FINALLY begining to activate comtempt of court charges and will be issuing a warrant for him, so when he does get picked up for another offense he will have to address the issue of not paying child support.

Nobody likes a deadbeat dad, however this is something social services and law enforcement can properly handle.
