Kimber Closson is a very sick human being! She told me her price over the phone and I go meet with her then she forgets the price. The price that she gave me when I showed up was higher then what she told me over the phone. She then goes on to tell me that she is having financial problems. She gets into how she was a kid and had problems with her parents and legally left her parents. Her manorisms, tone of voice, and body language immediately told me that she is a very sick human being. Kimber Closson is suppossed to be giving advice on how to help a person when she is a very very sick human being. Not only is she sick, but with the pricing she flat out lied. I caught her in lie after lie and she still lied. Kimber Closson is a very sick person!

I went to her

She requires prepay and I was skeptical at first because I had to pay $350. the first time for 1.5 hr!!!
All I went through to see her is not in the report because they would have said some of it! To keep from this happening again I won't say the steps either because it seems like the complaint is personal and unrelated.
Kimber has seen me 4 times for 2 different things and I WILL GO AGAIN if I need to! She is professional and cheap compared to others. I paid less and more for downtown: $40-225/hr means a lot when you're throwing it out the window and can't complain because it would sound crazy. "I got ripped off by a hypnotist". But the others frankly were crap BS artists compared to her.
As for her trying to rip someone off, my wife wanted to book for better sleep & she made a recording and posted it free on YouTube under "Restful Sleep Hypnosis" for her. FREE. Then sent the audio to my email. FREE! I keep this on my cell phone for when we travel. That's generous, not a rip off! She GAVE US $350. worth of her expertise for free. We never make it to the end of the recording, we followed the instructions posted on the video and it works every time. Amazing.
I hope Kimber gets TONS of work from my rebuttal here. I have to admit that my employees would think ME going to a hypnotist is "crazy"- I am a CEO- it IS NOT crazy when it is real. I was desperate and I have the money to spend. I needed real control. I needed to know how to keep it. It makes me feel bad I can not endorse her publicly because she does do "self optimization", not "zone you out".
Kimber is the most REAL therapist I have ever gone to and she is younger than me- which put me off at first! She is either very well-trained or an angel or both because she is the only person to turn me around. I still go to my regular therapist to vent (insurance covers it) but Kimber is my go to person when I am ready to change something serious. She is nice, thoughtful, direct and real. I have learned more than ever about myself in the first session than I did in 5 sessions with one guy and 3 sessions from another woman. All they did was talk quiet and or funny sounding while recording and gave me the CD. They also tried to get me to re-book. Kimber went at it like I did- I planned on seeing her once. She made me wait 3 days before allowing me to book!
The post above doesn't even make sense if you have gone. I pay $250/hr and she includes the self optimization recording. I don't know if I'm supposed to say this but it is NOT the same as a recording of the session. The first time, it was slightly different than the session, the second time it was very different. But if it was a regular recording of the session like the other hypnotists do- I would not have listened to it at all!
The recordings were what I needed for ME when she was not there. I have them on my phone and also her sleep recording for my wife. She is the best, in my opinion! The fact that she is so expensive is second to the fact that she is so through. She teaches how to do it myself and not make this a mystery that I must have her to get by. I thank Yelp.com for helping me find her. I don't smoke or bite my nails any more. Since seeing Kimber, I've also done a weight loss hypnosis for myself that has been better than anything available for free and I have lost 12 lbs from it since Jan 2, 2013. It has been about 10 months since I saw her the first time and I am who I knew I could be. Even bad publicity can help good people find Kimber Closson. She is there for you!

The post above doesn't even make sense if you have gone. I now pay $250 per hour and she includes the self optimization recording. I don't know if I'm supposed to say this but it is NOT the same as a recording of the session. The first times, it was slightly different than the session, the second times it was very different for both sessions. Kimber said this had to do with my focus and responses in state. But if it was a regular recording of the session like the other hypnotists do- I would not have listened to it at all. Recordings of the sessions from other hypnotists were not pleasant to listen to and I always fell asleep before the end. This should only happen for sleep recordings I found out. No WONDER they never worked!
The recordings were what I needed for ME when she was not there. I have them on my phone and also her sleep recording for my wife. Kimber is the best, in my opinion! The fact that she is so expensive is second to the fact that she is so through. She teaches how to do it myself and not make this a mystery that I must have her to get by. She is my Jiminey Cricket!
I thank Yelp.com for helping me find her. I don't smoke or bite my nails any more. I don't feel like my employees or clients think I'm weak because a jagged edge on my nail compelled me to bite it! I am not compelled to smoke at all! Since seeing Kimber I have also done a weight loss hypnosis for myself that has been better than anything available for free and I have lost 12 lbs from it since Jan 2, 2013. It has been about 10 months since I saw her the first time and I am who I knew I could be. Even bad publicity can help good people find Kimber Closson. She is there for you!

Whomever posted this is not a reputable source. Surprisingly, I also don't have a client named "Tony".
Debunking:
I don't *ever* allow someone to "come meet with me" or "just show up" without running a background check via pre-pay. Sessions are expensive.
I'm sure that will make sense to people reading my response who have googled me. Also, the "personal info" posted is published online, including at IMDb. Public knowledge.
Anyone who has ever sessioned with me has pre-paid for their initial session via ShowClix.com, Yelp or Living Social.
If the person is telling the truth, how sensible is it for me to hike a price before a session? Because if it was me, I would walk out. It's bad business.
My cost never fluctuates once I quote. It becomes part of client's file.
If a client (someone who is clearly disturbed) requires "clearance" from a Licensed Medical Professional- they are outside of my legal scope and, by law, I have to turn them away, but that is done over the phone.
I don't need to "pad the bill". One 2-hour session with me includes a specialized recording, giving you a minimum of 8 sessions, and I charge fairly for it.
Libel.

The vicious damage this person is attempting to do, based on a mis-quoted price, seems extreme. Whomever posted this is not a reputable source. Surprisingly, I also don't have a client named "Tony".
