By way of a brief background, I met Kimberly Ann Hope via the internet at her website, www.kimberlyslovespells.com. I contacted Ms. Hope for a psychic reading and was informed that someone I love was being hurt by another individual. She told me that bad things would happen to him if I didn't step in and send her money to fix the problem. She also told me that I would have health problems, never have love in my life again, and have serious misfortunes. I am just one individual who Ms. Hope fraudulently took advantage of with her guarantees of relationship counseling and/or psychic assistance. It is very likely there are other individuals that Ms. Hope has also defrauded.

From a period of November 2, 2005 through late January 2006, I paid Ms. Hope approximately $24,700.00 for psychic/relationship services which she ultimately failed to perform. Pursuant to her complete money back guarantee, Ms. Hope refunded the sum of $250.00 to me on March 8, 2006. However, she has failed to refund any further money to me despite her assertions to do so. My telephone calls to her go unanswered and messages are not returned. On April 14, 2006, I sent a letter via certified mail as a formal demand for the remaining amount. She has not accepted service for this letter. I have retained all the FedEx receipts, Western Union receipts, emails, phone records, and credit card statements.

Regardless of my personal embarrassment over this situation, I felt it absolutely necessary to report her fraudulent activities to the proper authorities legal and financial with the hopes that her fraud will be stopped. As such, I have filed a police report in my local jurisdiction, which was subsequently transferred to the East Los Angeles jurisdiction where Ms. Hope resides. Additionally, I have also contacted my personal attorney and the U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles. I recently reported her to the IRS for possible unreported income and filed a confidence crime/internet crime complaint with the FBI.

Ms. Hope has pretty much destroyed my life with her fraudulent activities. Prior to meeting her, I was a stable individual, both financially and emotionally. That has now completely changed. I am forced to move home with my family as I can no longer afford my necessities - rent and grocercies. I am also being sued by a creditor because I took out a personal loan to send her money. Ms. Hope preyed on my emotional vulnerabilities to defraud thousands of dollars from my bank accounts as well as credit accounts. In hindsight, I recognize that the naivety on my part partially contributed to my current situation; however, Ms. Hope played a major role in my downward spiral.
