These guys like to purchase junk vehicles cheaply at the auto auctions they do minimal work on the vehicles to to get it on the road.they lie about the condition in their craigslist advertisements to get the consumer to go look at the vehicles.I purchased a truck from them they lied about doing a safety check on it they claimed they tuned it up and did a oilchange service on it. I took it to get a oil change and the oil was like tar,the trans fluid was almost not even visible on the stick. The calipers are shot.one of the coolant hoses going into the engine was incorrectly clamped causing huge amount a spraying of clloant and overheating.
The mechanic kurt is a rude, crude and standoffish jerk who cares absolutely nothing about customer service,he won't answer your calls if you call him with a problem and if you show up he will ignore you and field whatever consern you have passing the buck to the owner. He does mickey mouse backyard type mechanic work and seems to be strungout every time.
Tony ( the owner ) while he seems like a nice guy and the "go to" guy does shady deals. My wife purchased a vehicle from them we waited 2 weeks for the repairs to be completed we how up for a suprise visit to check on the vehicle to disciver they had the entire carpet torn out to get to the gas tank and had switched the seats from a piece of crap matching vehicle in a attempt to pass us a vehicle of the same. Make year and color. The same vehicle was back on craigslist 2 days before we informed them we wanted our money back thank god we didn't sign annything yet. At least tony refunded us with no arguement whatsoever probably due to the fact that he knew we caught their scam.
Do NOT deal with Kingpin Motors at all costs.

1. The DMV should never had to get involved if you guys are on the up n up.

2. At the time of purchase there was a code from the computer check indicating a evaporative systems problem (possible leak). And the check engine light has been on ever since. Both tony and Kurt both claimed it was a no big deal probably a loose gas cap.Yeah right. Because of the issue that was never resolved, emissions failed. Oh and a problem with misfiring cylinders according the the quiet zone in Watertown. So that being said. After all that hassle with the DMV just to get the vehicle safe to drive. I still get shafted. Its gonna cost Hundreds of dollars in labor and parts for the mechanic to smoke the system and find the issue and replace the part. So 2 years later SCREWED AGAIN. Don't try to tell me about wonderful kingpin motors is. They are the biggest mistake I have ever made. PERIOD.

I have bought three cars from Kingpin Motors and all of them have been very good running cars and all  have been safety checked and if there was a problem with the check Kurt has fixed the car with no PROBLEMS Kurt is a very good Mechanic and is very busy he always explains everything clearly and makes sure the job is done correctly Tony is the owner and has always been very fair and has had Kurt make sure the proper repairs are made before selling a car. I'm very happy with this business AAAAplus in my book !!!

I would tell anyone to buy a car at King Pin Motors LLC. with confidence  best regards David J. Gay

The Answer To My Question Is...

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, March 16, 2012

But first here's the question...oil which looks like tar, no transmission fluid, a bad hose spewing out coolant...did you bother to even look at this car BEFORE purchase? Did you take it for a test drive BEFORE purchase? Did you have your own mechanic check it out BEFORE purchase? And the answer is a great big NO!
