Do not buy any Timeshare from this company or any other company.

All Timeshares are a ripoff. For what you pay in maintenance fees and RCI/II fees each year you can afford a nice vacation most anywhere and do not have to pay the ridiculous price for a worthless Timeshare. They lie about everything and destroy your credit when you want out because they lied.

No lawyer or govt. agency is willing to help. I tried everything and finally stopped making payments after wasting $5000. Still owed $25000 including the interest and fees I would have had to pay for 12 more years. A lot of money for something I could not use as I had been promised. I would like to get enough people together and complain real loud and hopefully put a stop to this scam.

The FTC is aware of their deceitful sales tactics but allow it to go on. A lawyer told me that the Timeshare companies put a lot of money in the politicians pockets. It must be true because I know of no other business that can lie like this and continue to do so. The laws are a lot stricter on a poor old used car salesman.

I have had the same complaints you have had with King's Creek, plus many more. Take a stand against with me against King's Creek by contacting the local Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. The information for the BBB that handles complaints in that area:

Better Business Bureau

586 Virginian Drive

Norfolk, VA 23505

If you call ask for Freda Ware or her supervisor Valerie Butts.  They are familiar with this organization as they have received numerous complaints in the past couple of months.

Diplomacy may have helped. I got to know the representative at King's Creek and he has helped me trade my time out of the resort to Grand Cayman, Orlando, and other places. I would agree that RCI/II are hard to work with because there are entirely too many requests and not enough owners leaving each resort each year.

I suggest buying only where you want to go every year b/c trading is tough. I might also suggest getting to know the reps at the resort b/c when you are nice to them, they can get you into resorts that are booked out three years in advance.

I spent $14,000 for my week at King's Creek and have traded it out to 3 places which would have cost me over $9,000 to rent a space at had I not traded. I have a lifetime of trades available still so I cannot agree with the financial aspect of the statement but I would agree that if you are difficult to deal with a timeshare is not a good idea b/c no one will do you any favors or help you trade out to tough destinations.
