Kings Repair Shop, Kings, Kings Auto Repair Had my truck for over a year, terrible paint and body work. Lost $1000+ in original parts and $500+ in damages.

King's had my vehicle for over a year, 8 months longer then the agreed timeframe.  During this year it became increasingly difficult to reach him by phone until he stopped all together.  I would check in weekly and be told the process would only take 2 more weeks.  After multiple busted completion dates it became increasingly apparent that he could not complete the work.  After the year mark I requested all my parts be returned "as is" and that I reached my limit on the time he had it.  After 1 month of repeated requests I finally received most of my items back.  Every item he worked on was painted horribly and or damaged.  All 4 rims look like they've been dragged on concrete, several paint chips, and worst of all missing parts.  As I'm writing this review he has not returned my tailgate and several other parts.  He informed me over the phone that he cant find them and insists now that I took them.  The remanufactured replica tailgate costs approximately $600.  Of course the originally product is more desired and valuable.  The other items included things like hood springs, cab mounts, bolts, and tailgate hardware.  I paid him 2 down payments totaling over $2000.  The work he performed clearly wasn't worth the down payment he took not to mention the work I have to do to fix some of the work he did.  My primary concern is letting everyone know his true character.  He can be persuasive and very chiasmic, traits found in the best con artists.  I only wanted him to make it write by whatever means he could, instead he denies everything.
