Kingswood Golf Oppressive Grounds Superintendent Unfair Labour Practises Tyrant Fredericton, New Brunswick

John Boyle has consistently proven to be a tyrant and demeaning supervisor of young summer students trying to earn some money, usually to pay their way through university. He uses intimidation because of his sheer size, threats and an obtuse dictatorial attitude to brow beat young impressionable eager students into submission to which they either submit or end up being summarily fired. Nice way to introduce the future work force to supervision.
He expects employees to be at work at 4:45 for a start time of 5 a.m., and if they are not they are classed as tardy and not give work for 3 or 4 days. This is a minimum pay job where you get sent home if it rains.....tough luck for you. Not only do you get fired but then he screws up your record of employment to foul up any claims you might submit for employment insurance. A nice piece of work this guy is. Basically he is a frustrated hockey jock who blew out his knee and is now taking his frustrations out on who ever he can get away with it. A suck up to most of the paying golfers but basically a coward who chooses to demean people in need of work. No sense complaining either since he just points to a stack of applications to indicate you can be replaced and any second.
I am writing this to warn any parents of students who are looking for work to to avoid applying at this establishment unless you want your kids exposed to a hostile environment. I understand that not all students are gung h*o workers but most of them do respond to proper supervision. I have been a supervisor and I am completely appalled at the way these kids are being treated. To the board of directors of this course, well I am on a crusade to tell the general public to boycott this golf course until John Boyle is dismissed or offers a public apology in the 3 major newspapers of this province. I hope the union movement in this province takes up the cause and mounts pickets to make the public aware that a poor imitation of Adolf Hitler is the greens keeper here.
