Let me start off by saying that "Equal Opportunity Employer" has never been further from the truth until I spoke with the people at Kinney Recruiting

I shared interest in working with Kinney Recruiting and decided to do a little research before I made any kind of contact. I read about the plight of a lady who had worked there and was recently fired for personal differences. As a lawyer and with my career at their hand I wanted to make sure I realized what a big decision it was being recruited here.

I contacted recruiters who had heard nothing about this case and they were rude, told me that they didn't have the time to waste and even used harsh language- I know what it's like to defend a company but I wouldn't expect anything like this. I even used Yahoo to search the man who gave the decision to fire this woman (Peter Gutensohn) and it is as though by Equal Opportunity you mean your recruiters are "criminals". A flood of warnings and forum topics about how this man is a "scam artist".

I have since tried to contact Peter Gutensohn and Robert Kinney but neither want anything to do with this.

I don't speak for the entire company but I'd do some research before you even begin to consider going through Kinney Recruiting. I have only ever spoken to them on my cell and from that experience I am going to continue my endeavors elsewhere.

AUTHOR: Albert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 15, 2012

I am Robert Kinney.  I can be reached at robert at kinneyrecruiting dot com by anyone who would like to see references on me or the other people at Kinney Recruiting.  I would welcome a conversation with anyone who is considering what recruiting firm to use.

We try very hard every day to do the best possible job for our clients and candidates.  I believe that this negative commentary from 2010 is related to an administrative employee who was with us until about the time that this post and the other negative commentary on this site went live.  The weak English skills evident in this person's writing indicate that this was not the product of any of our clients or candidates.

One of the things I like most about the job of working as a legal recruiter for some of the best law firms and corporations in the world, and for the people they seek to hire, is that we almost never have reason to work with or even interact with people who can't draft in proper English.
