Kirk Bonnoitt Murray D Bonnoitt Sexual Assault Mount Pleasant SC

After doing some initial research on financial planners in my area, I found some articles written by Kirk Bonnoitt about smart ways to save for an early retirement. Right up my alley, I thought! I reached out to his office and set an appointment to meet with him for November 7th 2018. I showed up at the appointed time to find him being the only person in their small office. 

I didn't think too much of it at first but things quickly escelated. He invited me into his private office and began asking some questions about my financial goals. After maybe 10 minutes of some basic questions, things started to get weird. He came to the side of his desk I was sitting at and sat next to me, supposedly so we could look at some documents he was holding together. Thats when the off color jokes began, he made a comment about how I could meet all my goals if I was with him because he is already rich. I awkwardly laughed it off at first, but then he put his arm around my shoulder and started asking what I was willing to do to meet my shorter term financial goals. 

This is when it hit me, he is a complete creep. I shreiked and he started backpeddaling. I screamed I was going to report him and then he got mad. He blocked me from leaving his private office and physically intimidated me, while saying things sexual predators like him do... "You misunderstood me" and "I was jsut playing around" and then this is the one that really made me have to fight for my safety, he tried to turn it around on me implying I wanted it and I was leading him on. 

Let me be clear... I in no way, shape or form did anything to warrant his advances. He attempted to extort sex out of me for money then physically assaulted me with his arm on my body followed by groping my inner thigh and forcing me back in the seat while I tried to leave. 

I was shocked, in complete disbelief. I wanted to report him to the police but have no proof besides my word and really don't have the ability to go through a court proceeding due to family obligations. I just hope my message here helps enough to protect another woman from this evil, sexual predator.
