I tried to unlock my Samsung mobile phone with mobileunlocked.co.uk

Unfortunately it did not work and I requested a refund.

7th Oct 2008 - Payment was made via PayPal

I was then informed that the unlocking process did not work. I wrote to mobileunlocked.co.uk from a different email address to that which I used for paypal. This email was ignored.

23rd Oct 2008 - Again requested refund, this time from my paypal address.

24th Oct 2008 - Email from Customer Service confirming that they had received my email of the 23rd and that the refund would go thru within 28 days of the 24th Oct.

20th November 2008 - I wrote to enquire about the refund. This email was ignored.

9th December 2008 - I wrote to enquire about the refund. Again ignored.

10th December 2008 - Again enquired. Again ignored.

At each step I wrote to cs@mobileunlocked.co.uk and kirk@mobileunlocked.co.uk

Unfortunately too much time has passed so I can not take this up with PayPal. However I will now be taking this up with Barclay Card.

I am happy to provide any extra information that I need to - however, they already have all my information about 4 times!

Dear Marc,

We have already processed your refund via Paypal and apologised for the delay in doing so. The error is that you emailed the wrong address. We request that all emails come directly through the contact us function of our website which you have admitted above you did not do.

We apologise that you feel aggrieved by our lack of communication but this is down to user error emailing unmonitored email accounts.
However that does not excuse the failing of not providing a refund in a timely manner which is what should have happened in the first place, again we apologise for this oversight on our part.

We can however confirm that you have received your refund.
