Over the years, I’ve volunteered with kiva , world Vision micro as well as Doctors without borders. It pains me to say all of them have misused the generous donations from me and millions of other people. The money does not go to where you think it does. The money goes to THEM so you can continue receiving marketing about giving THEM more money to misdirect. I had hoped to be able to recommend  a non corrupt charity but , I know of not one. Since I’ve stopped my volunteer work, all of the entities mentioned have refused to stop emailing and marketing not matter how much they promise to do so.  Just ask yourself a question,  If a company continually lies about opting you out of marketing , why should you trust them with handling your donations?
