In October 2015 I received a letter in the mail saying that since I had been paying all of my student loans on time and in full, and how SALLIE MAE now NAVIENT was notorious for unnecessary charging I was eligible for a program where I would have a lawyer fight for my rights, and that I would pay the law firm a fixed rate for winning the lawsuit about my interest rates. They told me to stop making payments to my loan provider, and then sent out a letter of cease and desist to Navient.

In January they had me check my credit, and it was lower I was like okay you said my credit wouldn't be affected and they told me that after their work was done they would restore the credit. I still had not received my promissory not from Navient so I had to call them and check the status...when I did that Navient told me they were going to file a report on me to the credit bureau for not paying UNLESS I payed $150 to go into forbearance. I called the law firm back and told them this asking if it was okay to make the payment since they would be filing the report and since their process was not complete (and since they had not yet received my promissory note) they were not able to do anything about my credit fluctuating and that they could not sway my to make or not make that payment (to go into forbearance or not), so I did it to be safe.

I asked the law firm how things were progressing, told me I was in information gather phase, I asked how long it took, 18-24mnths. I had my doubts when the name of their law firm kept changing, thinking it was simply different mergers. But after they told me the wouldn't have results for two years I started to panic, I cant allow my credit to fluctuate like the for the net two years. they had at one time had a website, but now I can barley find anything on google for them, except for other people also experiencing the same scam.

I was taken advantage of, like other before but now I need help. I signed a contract that specifies that even if I choose to terminate the program I still have to pay...at the time I didn't think there would be a reason to terminate, but now that I am convinced I am being scammed I need tot take action. And I need all the help I can get from outside sources to take this company down so they cant scam anyone else!
