kkc Class Action Services Shestopal V Follett Higher Education Group Settlement Adminstrator Issues Checks but no money in account Providence Rhode Island

I recieve a check from a class action settlement on Friday, August 4, the check was dated August 1 in the amount of 107.11.  I then go to the bank on Saturday, August 5 to be told there is no money in the account, I go back Monday, August 7 and again no money in the account. Now the bank is looking at me as if I'm trying to pass a fake check.  How can you send a check out but have no money in your account and the account is on Bank of America. When you try calling the phone is dead, and the one number that is working 866-381-9100 the people that answer the phone is so nastry and offer no help except another number that doesn't work.
