First off, unless you are a business owner yourself, you may not understand all of the costs that are associated with being a legitimate licensed contractor. There are many thousands of dollars every month in overhead expenses that need to be paid, in order to be a legal state compliant company. Just the Liability, Workers Comp and Auto Insurance, the Training for the technicians and Payroll taxes alone is a huge expense, and that is only a portion of operating expenses. People need to understand that they get what they pay for, and if they have any morals at all they would hire someone that follows the guidlines set forth by the state as opposed to hiring someone that is running an illegal non-compliant company. 

It is obviously frustrating for a company that follows the rules and pays their dues to be undermined and undercut by a company that is running in an illegal fashion. Most of these companies dont even pull permits for the work they are doing, which means the work isnt getting inspected and could easily put you and your family in harms way. Would you want to have surgery performed by a doctor that isnt a licensed surgeon?? Im going to guess that your answer is no. And if you found out that an eye doctor was performing heart surgery, would you turn him in?? I would hope that answer is yes.

One last thing to think about....if a company is willing to run their business in a dishonest and non-compliant fashion, then what other things are they being dishonest about and are they being honest with you??  Are they selling refurbished or stolen equipment as new? Just some food for thought.

kobie has been putting words in my mouth all along. I never said i was a retired detective. i'm not retired from anything. i talked to his investigator and they don't know anything about this and don't even have my name. they said he is lying to me. they wouldn't tell a person like him if there was an investigation on someone like me.

all of what he is saying is such a pack of lies that i can't believe he has the gall to put it in print. now he wants me to pay him more than $400 if i don't take my claim off this site. this is extortion. why would anyone want to use  a company like this?

this comment about the maffia and me threatening him is a lie. i have never threatened kobie, he has threatened me-in writing. this guy has one big imagination and it's going to get him in trouble. the news media will love it, though.

Shannon Lovan called for service and we sent a NATE Certified Mechanic, who diagnosed the issue, and promised a proposal for repairs when he found the parts.  She paid an $85 service call fee.  She was given an estimate of around $600 and decided to use an unlicensed contractor instead, because they were around $350. Lee Lopez, of ANK Home A/C Repairs illegally performed service on this system, committing a crime in Florida. This woman wants to compare us, a long time licensed, insured, trained, professional firm with some criminal who is working in the shadows.  She wanted her service call fee back and called us a ripp off and threatened to slander us to everyone she knew. She told me she was a retired "detective", incinerating she was a retired cop.  She mentioned that she knew mafia people, and she "wanted to put the fear of God in me". 

She he recieved good honest service and chose to hire a criminal who doesn't even have a license to do her work. She is under investigation, along with the unlicensed contractor, for illegal contracting.  She has been notified that we are not going to let her slander our family name and she just continues to threat me.  I have reported her to the authorities, and she is attempting to retaliate because of it.  

We report illegal activity.  If you are using unlicensed contractors, and we come across it, we will report it.  If you want to deal with criminals, please do not call us for service.  This lady has no legitimate complaint and this web site should not allow honorable firms to be slandered like this.  The internet is a powerful tool that should be used more responsibly. This is retaliation against us for reporting her and the illegal contractor to the state investigator.
