We have multiple cars in the house hold. Two years ago, we  purchased three 5 year wheel alignment contracts with Kost Tire for an amount of 211 dollars each after taxes. What this contract started was for the next 5 years my wheel alignments are free. For the past two years, my cars have been in the shop four times and all four times something was broken. So of course, I have had to pay more money in order to complete the alignment. Remember I had spent 211 dollars in order for this not to be the case.

However, last week, I dropped my car off at Kost Tire, my car is a 2004 Suzuki Aerio. I take pride in my cars and they know this. Since every time I drop my car off I call them seeing how everything went. So, I dropped my car off for an alignment, because i have a contract with them as stated earlier, three hours later I was told that the control arm in the back is broken because the car is too old. I need to pay 270 dollars in order to complete my alignment, which is ridiculous because I already spent 211 dollars for three cars, each for a contract that isn't even valid. So I am already angry.  When I asked if i can move the car to another shop, I was told the car is not drive-able.

Funny how they tell me this now.. So they break my car then basically tell me I have no choice but to have them fix it. The last thing I want is for them to touch my car when they  just proved to me to be completely not able to handle my car. Then I came to the shop to pick up the car, since I had no choice, the manager with the name of Rick, meet me and was very rude and unprofessional, and when I was leaving the shop with the key.. he was laughing at me very loudly.. in front of other customers at the front desk. I took this as discrimination because i have an accent.

So basically they were taking advantage of me for having rough English when I've been in this country for 22 years. But I do not believe this is how business should be handled. My car should not of been broken in order for them to make more money. I tried to complain to headquarters and I was told that an investigation would be done and someone will call me. Two weeks later, no call. Great business right? No. I had to spend 600 dollars to fix the breakage by the Kost tire employees but the car was fixed by Milford Suzuki. Do yourself a favor... stay away from Kost Tires.
