Kristina Sergeeva (Кристина Сергеева) Dating Scam, Stay Away

A friend of mine from Florida who is a truck driver meet a Russian lady named Kristina Sergeeva (Кристина Сергеева) online through a dating website https://7brides.ru back then in 2014, he started talking to her, and he asked her out later she accepted, and they started dating. He spoke to her about visiting her in Russia, she admitted, and they picked a date for my friend to visit.

He traveled all the way to Volgograd in Russia to meet her. For the first time, he stayed for about two days, and she requested him to borrow her the sum of $2000 which he did, that she is going to sell her house to pay back after finishing college with plans of moving to the states. He revisited her after six months and even proposed to her with a diamond ring, she accepted the proposal on the claim that she is having a US Visa and can visit him anytime she wants to pay back the money.

Several months later she told him she’s done with college and ready to move to the states, but she is in need of the sum of $5000 to pay off the Russian Government for store rent, because her partner flee away and without paying off what she owes she cannot leave for the states (it’s a law). My friend lends her the money so she could pay off the debt and finally move to the states.

Finally, she was not able to pay my friend back the money. She told him her visa is expired and she needed to renew it and she just disappeared ever since then. She doesn’t reply text neither does she picks the call. I am writing this piece just to help people stay away from this girl (Kristina Sergeeva) or any Russian dating sites; it seems like a business to them. I don’t want other people to fall for this and other potential victims to stay away from this lady.
