My daughter and I purchased a 2009 Jeep Liberty from Kwik Auto Sales. When we bought the Jeep the check engine light was on, Moe the salesman/manager assured us that this light was only a sensor, and that he would fix it. He kept the car for a week after purchase, and said he fixed the sensor, as well as shocks and struts, and he made me pay $150 for new front brakes. Soon as we made it home the sensor light was back on, and the car was still bouncy. He assured us again he fixed everything. So I took the car back to him, hour and a half drive, he kept the car another week,he said he was waiting on parts of things he said he fixed the first time. Again got back home car ran rougher and lights came on. I then went to Lou Bachrodt and paid $120 to have the Jeep throughly inspected and to our surprise the Jeep had $6600 worth of damage and that's just the starting point because they stated as they start fixing they could find other things that are wrong. The light he said was a sensor was actually a bad catylic converter, driveshaft was bad leaking grease, too much to list here. I called the finance company and they did an investigation and found he sold a dud, and thankfully my daughter and I are no longer responsible for this lemon, don't do business with that crooked place! He said he would take my daughters name off the loan so as he got financing, I should've known then he was a crook. I called him and requested my down payment of $1500 back and he said no, and he knows the finance company stopped all obligations on the lemon. Now I'm suing Kwik Auto, if anybody has dealt with this company and wants to get a class action lawsuit going please respond to this post, don't be victimized by these crooks, they are selling garbage and he says he fixes the problems on your car, but his mechanic is worthless. I'm also contacting the Illinois consumer protection on these crooks. Please take heed and never do business with Kwik Auto Sales and Moe.

We purchased the car with the light on that Moe said was the sensor. We Only found the $6600 worth of mechanical damage after taking it to Lou Bachrodt to have it inspected. We obviously trusted and took Kwik Auto at their word that was our mistake. He kept the car twice for a week saying he fixed the issues that he said were minor. Turned out to be major.

Since you knew of the CEL and other problems BEFORE you bought the car, why would you even move forward to buy the car with its obvious pre-existing problems!
