My daughter is having stomach pain and i wanted to assign new primary care physician, new insurance.

I call about 5-10 locations in network from my provider and i talk to this Dr office.

The rep on the phone tells me, we have a strick policy that only the mother can bring child to first visit, i say unfortunatly that is not possible, so that means i cant have my daughter use your doctor office?

She says you can bring legal custody paperwork.

* I have that, but I feel that for a doctor to assist a child in there health should come first, that is utter ridiculusness and offensive to me to be asked for such a thing.

Single dads have it hard and people like this do not help the child they hurt the child, luckliy after explaining to the insurance provider they fealt the same way and said they would switch to new provider same day no problem, even though it took hours on the phone.
