L A Computer Center ripoff bait-and-switch lying about availability would not honor advertized price Inglewood California

I ordered a video projector from these guys at a price that was $500 lower than everyone else was offering. They took my information and gave me a confirmation number, said it would ship that day.

A week later, no projector had arrived. They told be that they mistakenly listed that model -- they couldn't get it. They offered me an inferior model at a higher price. I said no and cancelled my order.

The projector was still listed on their website. They finally took it off for one day, then re-listed it at a higher price (what others were asking for it). All of a sudden, they had it in stock!

I contacted the BBB and FTC and complained, then contacted LACC again and asked why they couldn't offer me the model I originally ordered at a price in between what they had advertized and what they now advertize. They never got back to me.

I have no basis for believing anything L A Computer Center ever says.
