l and a services is a company that keeps crank calling my house.they keep saying there calling for an unpaid medical bill which i was on medicade at the time so medicade paid for the medical bill.the guy is really nasty.everytime u try and talk to him and tell him that the bill was already paid.he just gets smart with u.also i understand that they have a right to call my house but i dont believe that them calling 50 times a day is reaonable.also they will try anthing they can to sucker money out of u.
they have called my house from all different numbers how can one company have 7 different lines u block there phone number and it doesent do any good. they call all hours of the night anytime they want.it doesent matter if u have kids that have to go to school.these people dont care about anything but scaming u out of ur money.
just when u think there going to stop calling they find a new way to get around the call block and call from there houses and there friends houses.but its always the same nasty fox guy.i even had to have collect calls blocked from my home number. this guy will call ur house collect and act like its an emergancy from a family member just so u will accept the collect charges.no matter what u do they still keep calling and finding new ways to call but they also wont prove that i owe the bill.
i have even made police reports and called my phone company about this and they still get away with it i just hope that if this company starts calling u get a private phone number its the only way to stop it.thats what im doing calling and getting my number changed again.

thank u very much as soon as the holidays over im going to make a trip to the post office and do what u suggested i really hope this helps and we are very thankfull for the advice we really dident know what else to do about the calls

All you have to do is send a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request, as per your right under the FDCPA.
Send this by certified mail, return reciept requested. Be sure to put the certified# on the letter itself, and keep a copy for your records. This is very important as it proves what you sent.
Now, when they violate, you sue them as provided for under the FDCPA for up to $1000, plus costs and actual damages.
