Just returned from vacation to find that the LA Weight Loss Center in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, NV has been SHUT down. The notice on the door indicated that they have been shut down and to call 702.412.0595. When I called, the taped message indicated to leave your name & phone number and that you will receive a call back in 2-3 days, etc. etc.
On April 6, 2007, I prepaid for the weight loss program of $401.50. On April 13, 2007, I prepaid for LA Delite food bars in the amount of $1,029.02, "15 weeks of weight loss, 6 weeks of stabilization and all the LA Delites you will need for your entire maintenance phase". After two weeks, all of a sudden their office hours were limited to certain days and times.
It is now August 13, 2007 and I have not received the total benefits per the contract signed by myself and the company representative on April 6, 2007.
