La Dermanique Gives New Meaning to Scam Artist! Internet

La Dermanique ranks right up there with the scummiest of the scam artists!  After sending away for a sample (for which you are charged $4.95 for shipping), your credit card is charged $97 the next month -- for what??  I received a phone call from this company after I had received the sample, telling me that it appeared my order had not gone through and needing to run it again.  I told them I had received the sample and did NOT want any automatic charges going on my card after they tried to talk me into a monthly plan.  I also told them I did not want them contacting me anymore, as I thought this was all very fishy.  After seeing complaints about this company, I have been carefully checking my credit card transactions.  I tried contacting their customer care, but gave up after never getting through.  I'me disputing this charge with the card company and am planning on contacting the SC attorney general, as sample was sent from Greenville, SC.  Caveat emptor, people!!!
