I am writing to warn you about the practices at LA Fitness and Proresults. I have been a member for over 5 years. I had been training with their trainers for 1.5 years until my father became ill and I had to move to a new state that does not have LA Fitness.

I sent them a notice via FedEx 2 months ago to notify them of the need to cancel. They have lied about receiving the notice of cancellation and are screwing me for about $400 per month. Their contracts are filled with tiny words about how they can continue to charge your credit card for anything other than death or SEVERE disability.

Also, their trainers tell me they get about $8 of the $30 we pay for the session. So if you do find a good trainer at LA Fitness don't get attached b/c the good ones move on to better gyms.

Stay away from LA Fitness.
