Who lives in Miami florida and who is the register agent of the corporation(sunbiz.org) meaning why somebody with the amount of capital that he suppossed to have, doesn't have a attorney open the corp.

Today I gat a call from a relative that I signed up back in april. The call was to inform me that since my drop off in activity with signing people up, many things have progressed.

He went on to tell me that the company is about to launch and that if I still want to be involved it would have to be UNDER him now and get this...

He needs my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER to enter me into the system and give me an employee number.

Although I mentioned that this was a relative, it's one that I've lost trust for long before hearing of La Promesa. The only thing about this that I do trust is that he's working on behalf of La Promesa.

Well, you just need a little more information. When a new company comes on the "scope," of course there are going to be critical and confidential matters that are not put into public display. I can honestly tell you that in a short period of time (weeks) you will be quite surprised to see LPC Global start operations. I am confident of this because I am a good friend of Mr. Abel Mesa. Yes, Abel Mesa is a very real person. I have met him. I have dined with him. I have his cell number on my telephone.

He is a small man with a big smile, an idealist and seemingly naive. Having said that, I believe that he's a pathologic liar either believing his own lies or being very good about revealing his knowledge of them. Further, I do not believe that he has a penny to his name and travels at the expense of those who support him by paying his airfare, feeding him, and providing lodging for him. If, a BIG "IF", La Promesa, now known as LPC Global, becomes a reality, it will NOT be because of him. He simply does not have what it takes to make it happen. Nanohurtz, about the translation that you requested, a little background. As we have mentioned, La Promesa's was first known as La Promesa NY, then later added La Promesa TX & La Promesa University. These names & the web sites associated with them were sabotaged by the people who sign at the bottom of that document that you copied. So, all that document does is state why they parted ways with Abel Mesa.

GOD... A lot of people get sucked into this because to not believe in this is considered the same as not believing in God. Believe in God is not believing in LPC and believing in LPC is NOT believing in God. Be as wise as serpents, as gentle as doves. Even if this is of God, that does not mean that God wants you to participate. Let His Spirit guide you, not the words of man, even if they say they speak in the name of God.

Looks like La Promesa changed thier website (http://www.lapromesa.com) or took it down. I think all of the bad press about thier fraudulent activities finally got the best of them. They've decided to change thier name and splinter off into other equally fraudulent websites that try to make an impression with obscure verbage. Thier website design follows the same overly simplistic format, fraught with broken links and void of any online support to actually communicate with anyone.

They present an apparantly poorly written address to the Spanish speaking community (thier intended target for the scam) and did not provide an English translation for those people (like me) who were on to thier sham from the start. Any one care to crack this presumably long excuse for not having met thier "promise" to people, and provide a translation for those concerned to see? Thanks.

La Promesa has another website in addition to lapromesany.com, lapromesatx.com. The new website is lpcglobal.tv. It has several videos about La Promesa. I watched portions of a video on lpcglobal.tv. Most of it is in Spanish with English translations.

Here is a bit of what was on the video for inquring minds:

Someone gets up and continues to promise that this is a business in which everyone wins. They admit it is a multi-level marketing company, but they don't want everyone.(?) They believe this company will help reduce misery, poverty, and crime. The company representative talks about love, and changing the lives of others.

Supposedly, Able Mesa could sell this business idea for $300 million.

They played inspirational music and had everyone clapping and singing.

They had a lady speak about how she came across this opportunity. She believes if she works hard in this company, she will 'go to the nations' and help people in trouble, ministries, etc... She continues and speaks about King David from the bible. This is a 'God' inspired company. She thought they only needed 400 people, but now they have 8000.

The people that have left the company won't reach 'the promise.' She continues to say they are not leaders and have given up. She believes, 'They will go forward and victorious.'

Someone apparently has strong-armed the webpage! (I think it is the lapromesatx.com website. It looks like 7 hispanic churches in Texas were involved with La Promesa. They revolted and have created Hope Communications.)

Another guy gets up and says that this concept of business is new. Currently, businesses make money for the owners. La Promesa Corp wants to put 'the brother' ahead of themselves. He continues to talk about Carlos Slim, the Mexico Telecom businessman that is worth about $72 billion. He says that Carlos Slim doesn't help the little people. La Promesa wants to help everyone.

This guy then talks about the biblical concept of giving. You must give to receive. Then he states,'you must have Faith, and everything is based on Faith.'

Abel Mesa gets up to speak. He apologizes for the delay in starting the company.

Next Eddie Mercado, the engineer gets up to speak. He says he has been in telecommunications for 19 years, and has worked for MCI, Sprint and other telecom giants. He claims he started 'Sprint PCS.' He goes on and on talking about how technologies come and go. Eddie is pretty boring.

(Are they introducing new technology? I thought they were offering a couple of cell phones and cheap unlimited service.)

Eddie holds up a cell phone that represents 'New Technology' that runs on Microsoft CE. Apparently, the phone can email, and you can use all the Microsoft Software on it...Word, PowerPoint..etc. (Doesn't sound new to me! Aren't there already devices that can do this?) He says the phone will sell itself. He says this is the future.

Abel Mesa speaks again. He brags about the LPC Global website (lpcglobal.tv), saying that they have finally been able to put out free international programming. (Check the website, it's not that great).

Mesa goes on to say that this company isn't about our timing, but God's timing.

Then Louis Reese? gets up to speak.
He makes comments and talking about perservering. Then he talks a little about Jesus. The Louis waves about his phone and talks about how this company is a blessing of God. He waves his hands and declares 'everyone prosperous.'

Abel Mesa then gets up and says soon everyone will be able to get up and tell their testimony about La Promesa. He says they are already looking for someone to do a movie about La Promesa.

Now, the streaming video cutoff, and the error message appeared 'Cannot connect to the server'

Make of it, what you will. Does business and religion mix?

La Promesa Corporation is a visionary company totally based on faith. Those short on faith need not apply! Let us take one step at a time regarding the allegations of a Pyramid Scheme.

What is a Pyramid Scheme? Well, to educate the obviously ignorant individual that wrote the report, A Pyramid Scheme is one in which monies are moved without any products being consumed or services being renedered. The key question here is what monies has La Promesa Corporation asked or accepted from any of it's "potential " employees. Why "potential"? Because the company is not even open for business yet, so there technically ARE NO employees!

The only thing that the company is doing is accepting applications, in preparation of the lauching of a company that has the potential to revolutionize telecommunications as we know it! Sounds to good to be true? That thought is understandable but because there has never been any money interchanged, an age-old adage is applicable, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained" ! The contracts for employment are vague at best and certainly not binding to any personal assets. just added La Promesa cell phone services to the travel perks. Since this was
quite unusual to see, I did a search on "La Promesa" and was led to this interesting
Rip-Off Report discussion thread. It's puzzling to see that LaPromesany.com is no
longer taking applications at its "Under Construction" website, but our Travel Club
has various La Promesa application links in the "Additional Services" section of our
website..hmmm.

Anyway, I want to thank each of you who have given input on this subject here at
Rip-Off Report.com. It appears that this new cell phone deal from our travel club
deserves more investigation, or even better, just watch and see what happens in
the next few of months. If it's a good program, it will still be around and growing

On La Promesa's (newly revamped) webpage, the VERY FIRST THING they tout is "[the promotion of] unity, prosperity and comprehensive redeployment of capital generated by the consumption of goods and services from its members."
So, first and foremost, La Promesa aims to make their "members" rich.
Compare this with the websites of successful companies: Wal-mart will market their products and Nike will show off their new shoes, not try to attract new employees.

La Promesa Corporation is a visionary company totally based on faith. Those short on faith need not apply! Let us take one step at a time regarding the allegations of a Pyramid Scheme.

What is a Pyramid Scheme? Well, to educate the obviously ignorant individual that wrote the report, A Pyramid Scheme is one in which monies are moved without any products being consumed or services being renedered. The key question here is what monies has La Promesa Corporation asked or accepted from any of it's "potential " employees. Why "potential"? Because the company is not even open for business yet, so there technically ARE NO employees!

The only thing that the company is doing is accepting applications, in preparation of the lauching of a company that has the potential to revolutionize telecommunications as we know it! Sounds to good to be true? That thought is understandable but because there has never been any money interchanged, an age-old adage is applicable, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained" ! The contracts for employment are vague at best and certainly not binding to any personal assets. In addition, all because a screening application was filled out, along with an employment contract, it doesn't necessarily mean that the application will be accepted!

In closing, the concept is nothing short of genius. The upside is limitless and the down side is next to nothing, so what do we have to lose? The only thing that must be reiterated because at this point La Promesa is just a concept and there is nothing tangible to show, is that those short on faith need not apply !!

A quick look at the cell phone services will show you that this is a load of garbage.

SERVICES
They apparently offer four services:
1) Unlimited local and long distance calling to the US, Canada and Puerto Rico for $25
2) 5000 minutes of international calling for $25, with unlimited member-to-member calling.
3) Internet for $25
4) Luxury Packaged (sic) for $75

If you take a look at offer number one, there are NO cell phone providers that offer unlimited calling for under 30 dollars. The company that comes closest is MetroPCS, that uses its own cell phone tower. They charge around 40 dollars a month.
The question stands: If La Promesa is using Verizon to offer their cell phone service, and they can't possibly offer service at those prices at a profit, who is subsidizing it? Abel Mesa, the invisible millionaire entrepreneur? Verizon? The yet-to-be-lauched company, that offers a lot of promesas but no tangible product? Where do the subsidies for the actual cell phones come from? And since when do cell phone companies offer funeral plans?

TIME(bit more expensive sometimes) is witness of all actions. I am a Broadband Engineer that deals with triple-play for been deploying cable telephony and VOIP since 1999 in USA and mostly Latin America.

In my humble opinion it seems this deployment is running behind or the focus is not in lines (phone #'s) sold. Not even in the radar of trade magazines or vendors willing to sell them telephony products.

Lets see more action, And if the ROLEX Guru has all that cash to blow on himself why are we targeting hispanics to get more money?

FYI. "Slim's" limited command of the English language did not get him his wealth. I know and understand that its something that is hard to belive...not because it helps people and churches but because its something that no one has ever thought of. Im one of the 7 regional managers in "La Promesa Corp" and your not the first individual whom distrust have not just influenced people in bad ways but you have also made people think were a bad company! It saddens me to think that you would let go of such a great opportunnity. We are aware of the possibility of recesion that can occur in the United States, we are Not i repeat Not trying to hurt anyone we are trying to help. Many people will be satisfied with what our company offers.

I speak from experience having programmed online stores for large marketing companies. Google for example is THE largest online marketing companies in the world raking in billions of dollars in the information exchange business. Google pays its taxes and conducts business in accordance to the law. Being an employee of Google is nothing short of dying and going to heaven from a 9 to 5 perspective. La Promesa on the other hand conducts business in the most scrupulous manner by toting the name of God for all things money. Florida and New York make up a lion share of an ever growing Hispanic population.

They continue to target lower to middle income Hispanics and the MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of dollars wrapped up in long term private and religious real estate ownership by first and 2nd generation imigrants from Puerto Rico and Mexico. If you paid the $24.99 for the phone and fake services, smile - you just lost, a boiled frog.

Common sense, asking for $1.00 from 100 people is far easier and less conspicious than asking for $100 from the one person. A church of spiritual filled people w/o a grip on the reality of how God works, and large wallets is early retirement for most scam artists. I put together a research paper that proved this theory where I walked from end to end on the number 6 train dressed as a beggar and actually accumulated $541.23 between 5 train stations. Easy money from a proof of concept.

Getting a business off the ground is also very simple in concept. La Promesa can never provide you with legal information because they are a lose knit of scam artists operating out of temporary satellites offices throughout Florida, NY, Phili, and now Chicago pushing competitor products. Sales men. You can start a legal entity in a matter of minutes over the web and with a little more money can have legal documents printed for you to furnish to your clients. It's not rocket science.

When I first exposed La Promesa, I was suprised to have received so many responses in favor of thier careless business practices or thier supposed innocent intentions. Many have since then signed away thier life long possessions to this capitalistic cult. Similarly word has started to spread and many individuals and religious organizations have reacted accordingly by expunging them from thier midsts.

Again, beware of finely dressed charlettons walking into your place of worship making promises of Jesus opening up the clouds above and pouring down money, good cell phone services, and fancy cars on your head from heaven. Why are there still people believing in this company? It's the middle of Jan 08, and nothing nothing has happened. They have no website, no promotion company, no ivestors, they don't even have a name of a person associated with the company. Do you see a CEO? Do you see any commercials? Ads? No what you see is only Hispanic churchs being targeted. Why not the other churchs? Still have faith in the company? Oh by the way they have your information. I agree with the posters that say that you cannot judge a company that has not started yet.

I agree that the cell phone market is saturated. They have only just recently added cell phones. Their products are internet based phone services, video conferencing, and the like.

But I cannot (yet) agree that it is a scam. They are asking for no money on our part. They are paying a salary of $25K, $50K, and $100K plus benefits for those that would start to manage the sales force. The sales force is commission based, as is often the case.

I agree that the application process is suspect. However, if it is done on a referral basis, it may be a creative means of cutting costs and red tape in hiring. Being hired does not guarantee that you will not be fired if you sit on your blessed assurance.

So, I would love to hear what you have to say. I am attending a conference today (12/27) in Orlando with the president of the company and will post back if there I arrive at any other conclusions with this regard.

The same negative complaints have been reported by a couple of members from a New Jersey hispanic church. It is sad how this so called "corporation" indulges doing so by using the Lord's name in vain.

I agree with your arguement in that this corporation is not started by "regular joe guy" but by individuals with the organizational skills, the saavy, and the brazen attitude to pull this scam off. I'd strongly suggest before signing up with another free email account and responding with additional "off-the-cuff" conjecture you pay some considerable thought to the point being made. My Christmas bonus alone is little more than twice what you claim I file per year as salary just to give you an idea of who you are dealing with. first of all, i agree with juansant8. how can you judge a company that is going to open their doors at the end of January, for all i know they want to help people and make money while they are at it. besides 'You Can't Fool All of the People, All of the Time', I've seen the people that are getting involved with this project and they are not your regular Joe guy.

i know what a Pyramid Schemes is, i made millions with it. i drive a porch, im about to buy an airplane, i have a house worth 1.700.000, all of this because im a positive person. I BET YOU CANT TELL me what kind of car you drive, or where do you live, or how much money do you have. because with a mind little as yours you are just better moving to a socialism country, you know, to work like you probably from9 to 5. In other words you are in the "the rat race" my friend and the sooner you get out from it the better. ill give you some examples to prove that im right about you:

well, i cant tell you they are going to have a 4 floor building as head quarter. and this markets targets the middle lower income, i do not fall under that category, and like i said before I've seen the people that are getting involved with this project and they are not your regular Joe guy.

It is not unusual to see a report filed against a fly by night business. I concur with Mr. Honradez; La Promesa Corporation is a pyramid scheme. I will begin my observation by turning your attention to the following link for those of us unfamiliar with how it works.

The business is financially viable if the break even is covered by "one time start up fee" often associated with residual products like a vacuum cleaner that requires custom bags or servicing. The same premise applies with cell phones, the core of this business. Thus, only those on the top tiers of the pyramid (founders, ceo's..etc) experience financial reciprocations while everyone else (with tiny exceptions) barely makes end meet going after an already saturated market. The base of the pyramid is largely comprised of the "glossy eyed" hopeful marketing force.

Mr. Honradez's sources are frighteningly accurate with a minor deviation regarding startup capital. La Promesa Corporation does not have any reported startup capital and is not scheduled to receive the supposed grant until sometime late January 2008 or beginning of February 2008. The Corporation has made quite a few claims or "promises", if you will, to many people (including myself), none of which can be substantiated without the capital or documentation. How does a company offer a salary to employees without an actuall payroll process? In some States such practices are frowned upon if not considered illegal. It's no suprise that La Promesa Corporation, like so many similar pyramids, operate incognito without any legally verifiable information to present in writing to its members or sales force.

Seperately, sound businesses will take the time to market themselves appropriately, especially on the internet. Quite frankly, thier website is poorly designed, fraught with incredelous information, and lacks the ever important contact information. "Under Construction" is hardly the term I would use for the religiously iconic display for lack of a better word.

Considering the somewhat privledged information provided, Mr. Honrandez is more than likely a de facto "Manager" or "Regional Vice President" like myself who, after realizing that the $400,000 salary was not forthcoming, decided to report this dubious business. We may have sat across from one another in one of thier conventions after putting forth a sizeable investment persuing this "promise". Conversely, he may have just saved the reader thier money and valuable assets.

How "Nanohurtz" can complain about a corporation that have not taken off yet, there have been lots of promised made to us in which I do believe 80% of what I been told.
This company will start operation at the end of January and I'm very sure that this negative report about La Promesa Corp. is been made by JEALOUS Competitor, knowing what is about to come is much better that what they have.

If this report would have been made in later months after observing if La Promesa Corp.have kept Their Promised then I will give more merit to "nanohurtz Report" but in doing it now, (In other words... how can you complain about about a company that hasn't even started or open the door yet) It's just a sign of desperation for what is about to come if La Promesa Corp. is at least 90% right in what they have Promised.

Note: Their web site still under construction and their main headquarter will be built in Long island City.
Also In Pyramid or scheme as he described, they don't pay Salary like La Promesa Corp will pay to their Managers from $25,000 to a maximum of $400,000 is this a Pyramid?
