LA Weight Loss; Pure Weight Loss Request for refund due to medical condition not completed as promised Fairfax Virginia

In September 2007 I contacted LA Weight Loss to request a refund of supplies not received/obtained. I spoke with the manager at that this who was not understanding and did not want to process the needed paperwork as I asked. This person was not a friendly, understanding, helpful business person like others I had worked with before.

I received a call back from the head supervisor of this center whom I had met on several of my visits to the Fairfax location. She indicated to me that she would process the needed paperwork. She obtained again my full name, address, telephone number, and the credit card that the refund was to be applied. She indicated that it would take about 30 days before I would see the refund. I was in agreement to this process.

When my October 2007 bill came there was no credit on it. I did not contact them at this time because at the time I asked for the refund, my credit card statement had come in about four days after my request to them. So I waited to see what was going to happen with the November statement. I received the November statement and still credit. I have been trying to get in contact with someone to find out the status but no luck.

I understand that the company is about or has gone out of business in the Northern Virginia area. I am looking for the refund to appear if they did what they said they were going to do back in September. If not I am seeking legal action of some kind.

I hope we as clients will some how be able to receive refund payments like their business companies are looking for payment.
