I signed up for L.A. Weightloss on October 1st, 2008. By the first week in November 2008, they were closing their Fox Cities, Wisconsin locations. I paid more than $500.00 for this service and have yet to receive even their minimal refund for the 4 weeks of service I have used.
I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection to try to get my money back. So far, the BBB has closed their case as unanswered because they could not contact anyone from the Center.
This is a lot of money to spend on what was supposed to be an 85 week program that was only offered to me for 4 weeks. You can't tell me that no one in the company knew that they would be closing their doors 4 weeks ahead of time.
